and says...
Later at the Nekohanten Cologne is cleaning jewelry. She leaves and tells Shampoo she can have anyone she wants. Shampoo chooses a tightly closed box. After opening it she pulls out the pin and puts it on her broach....
Later... Ranma and Akane are walking home, when suddenly.. "What you doing under Shampoo's bike Ranma?" Ranma gets mad (justifiably so) when Shampoo slams him through the air.... At the Tendo dojo, Genma and Soun are discussing philosophies when SPLASH!!
At the Tendo dojo, Akane and Ranma are back from school and Akane is treating to Ranma-chan's wounds. Kasumi remarks on how Shampoo just acted with her, this gets Ranma really mad. So mad that instead of pouring syrup on his snow cone, he pours pepper sauce. This gets Akane jealous.
At the Nekohanten Ranma stops by, when Shampoo sees him she stops her cheerful greeting. Ranma asks what is going on, laying his hand on her shoulder. At this Shampoo slams Ranma right into the wall. Cologne chooses this moment to come out from the back of the shop. Suddenly Mousse appears from nowhere to land on Ranma's back blathering about how Ranma is more disliked than him. Ranma cant believe this, Shampoo leaves in a huff, splashing water on both of them. Ranma chases her while Cologne tells about the jewel Shampoo chose. It is called the reversal jewel, when worn right-side up it increases feelings of love. When worn upside-down love turns to hatred.
Meanwhile... Shampoo and Ranma-chan are running across the rooftops of Nerima. Ranma-chan corners Shampoo on a rooftop. He asks what the deal is. She gets him real close and says...
That night at the Nekohanten, Shampoo is taking a shower when Ranma drops by. Because she doesn't have the jewel on (or much else) she wasn't under the effects of the jewel. Surprised to see Shampoo embracing him the same night as she hit him, Ranma was even more surprised when she suddenly started pounded him out the door and into the Tokyo skyline. We turn to that Cologne has put the jewel on her towel. Mousse realizes what just happened and calls Cologne "you dried up old monkey!". Cologne promptly slams him into the wall. She tells him of the jewel, he realizes what this means so he runs up to Shampoo's room. And gets thrown down the stairs.
Reading from old scrolls, (from the Saotome School of getting girls to fall in love with you) Ranma tries several times to get Shampoo's affection. They all failed. That night, Ranma is sitting there trying to figure out a strategy while everybody tries to get him out of it. When Nabiki exclaims "The only reason she's after you is because of that stupid amazon law of hers!" Ranma gets a plan....
The next Shampoo is making her deliveries when Ranma challenges her to a fight. After a brief fight, Shampoo losses. Ranma points out the law about who ever beats her, she has to marry. Then Shampoo says "You may take Shampoo's body, but you will never have Shampoo's heart." Ranma just now notices that all his classmates, Akane, and Kuno are behind him. Akane is paralyzed with jealousy and Kuno complements him. He quickly runs off smashing Kuno as he goes.
Later Ranma is screaming out of anger at himself when Cologne decides to pop out of nowhere. She tells him that all he has to do is admit his love for her. (Ranma doesn't know that this will finalize his marriage) She tells the plan to Shampoo who hates it until she removes the jewel. Meanwhile, Mousse-duck escapes from his cage taking the jewel with him.
Furikan High School, later that day. Akane is having lunch with her friends when she hears Mousse talking to her. She turns around to see Mousse talking to a statue of principal Kuno. After a brief discussion they are interrupted by flyers floating from above broadcasting the event. They decide to hunt down Ranma, a short time later they find him talking to himself, asking if he's lost his touch. Ukyou interrupts saying "How could you possibly tell her you love her when your engaged to me?" Then he asks Ukyou if she loves him, after hesitation she says yes. Then slaps Ranma around with her big spatula and runs off with embarrassment. At this Ranma turns around and laughs. Akane gives Mousse permission to beat up Ranma, when suddenly. Mousse is splashed with water and Akane is knocked out. We pull over to see it is Cologne.
Later at the Nekohanten Cologne tells of the plan. She mustn't speak or smile. Ranma shows up and confesses his love. Suddenly everybody from Furikan bursts out from under the tables. And Cologne says "Let the marriage ceremony begin!" Akane comes in the door is about to confess her love when- Fade to Akane and Mousse-duck tied up in the Nekohanten's back room. Mousse-duck quacks at Akane and she says she doesn't care, Mousse promptly feints.
Ranma enters the Nekohanten and confesses his love. The people burst out from under the tables, and Ranma seems rather cool-headed about it. Then Shampoo pulls out a special dish she made for him. Nekohanten fried duck. Mousse-duck awakens from his coma to see he is in the same place as before. He pleads with Akane once more to no avail. Then he grabs the jewel and puts it on her.
The Nekohanten, Ranma enters and doesn't say anything. He sits down and is about to say it. But just cant get the words out of his mouth. He says it, then Kuno and Ryouga burst from underneath the tables. Akane appears in the door and Ryouga and Kuno drag he r off. Ranma snaps out of it and squirms a bit. Shampoo also squirms. Under one of the tables Cologne sits with some of the boys. "How long has it been?" "Fifty-seven minutes."
Ranma finally is about to confess his love when Akane bursts though the door (this is not a dream sequence) And confesses her love to Ranma. Everybody jumps out from under the table and Cologne sees that Akane is wearing the jewel and gives up. Shampoo exclaims that this cannot be, thus blowing the ritual. Cologne takes the jewel away from Akane, just in time to see Ranma warming up to her. Then, POW!! Ranma goes flying out the door. Ranma lands face up in the garbage outside, to see Kuno and Ryouga standing over him. They insult him and then...
A few days later. Ranma is in a complete body cast at the hospital. Akane, Ukyou, Shampoo and Cologne are around him. They all are yelling at him. when Ranma's friends from school walk in. They say, "Saotome you've got it made." "Even when your hurt, your surrounded by girls."
"Couldn't be happier, couldn't be happier!" Fade out.
