 Ranma's Review and AnalysisWho is he?I think Ranma's name means Disorderly Horse in Japanese. He studies the art of Kempo. Ranma is a guy, er, half guy because of the ancient chinese curse. Ranma's life is built around the Martial Art skills called Kempo. Kempo is his life. Usually all he does is fight. Ranma is a unsensitive guy. He'll go around calling Akane uncute and all that, but usually because she hits him or smacks him with a hammer. Wanna know more. Then here's his stats that I found:Name: Ranma Saotome sex: male, er, female, er male, but the curse, so...... eyes: blue, very blue hair: black with a pigtail / red with a pigtail. height: 5'8" (give or take a few) weight: I'm guessing 150 - 160 Likes: Martial arts, anything with martial arts and he loves it. dislikes: Getting married, with Akane, but in subconscious, another story, P-Chan snuggling up to Akane hehe, and men making moves and him when he's Ranma chan (like Kouno or Makata kissing Ranma-chan without the consent of Ranma-chan How it all startedA red haired girl running in the rain and a Panda bear attacking her. She held off the bear for a while, and during that while she was yelling at it. It was about her being infuriated because the it chose her fiancee for her. The Panda
was hit onto a sign and the girl said, "I'm going back to China,
so suck on dat old man..." Panda woke up, took the sign out of
the ground and smacked the girl over the head. Took her to Tendou's
where she was greeted with a hug and Nabiki touching her breats and
replying, "Ranma's not a guy, he's a girl!"Later after Ranma took a hot bath and Akane saw him in the nude, male ranma, he comes out and tells the story of this: Ranma and Genma (father of course) were crossing through the ocean to find a training ground. They find one and was greeted by a welcome from the Jusenkyo Guide. With his invain plead to talk em out of training here, Genma was knocked into a pool of a drowned Panda. He gets up and smacks Ranma into Nyanniichuan, Spring of drowned girl who died 1,500 years ago. Special Techniques in FightingCat Punch-When Ranma's ailurophobia is too much, he turns into a cat and fights like one (trained by Genma when he wrapped Ranma up in Fish Sausage and thrown into a pit of cats. Genma read it from the book, but he declined to read the small print where it says, "this technique has been banned since it causes psycological trauma")Saotome Final Attack-Used when Ranma couldn't beat up Ryoga (ryoga was smashed into a big boulder so many times, his body got use to the hits causing him to feel no pain). The attack is made of 3 objectives; Run, think, and attack. But by Akane it's Runaway till you think of something better. Bowing and Scraping-usually used by Genma and Soun. They just say a whole bunch of stuff like "I'm Sorry" or "Forgive us master". Shining Object-Used when Ranma and Genma were training. When Ranma was really ticked off at Genma, he used this to employ the attack, "Look! A hundred yen Coin!" and BAM. Chestnut roasting on an open fire technique-When Ranma punches no ordinary punch, he punches or does something 100 something a second. It's really hard to explain but this is no cheap trick. Hirru-Shouten-Ha-I've only seen this when Ranma defeats Kurin (Big Trouble in Nekonlan, China). But i read somewhere that Cologne taught this to him, when he was weak. It creats a whirlwind or whirlpool by the punch, which looks like a dragon. Hiryuu shouten-ha kaitei-ban-A revise of Hirru Shouten Ha, Shi Shi Ha-Kou-Don-ranma learns the Lion Roar Shot. Mouko takabisha-A way to counter Ryoga's Shi Shi Hakoudan shot. More about the Hiryuu Shouten HaRanma and Genma go to train in the mountains. Ukyou goes with them to cook for them. But nothing that Genma teaches helps Ranma regain his strength. (since Hopposai used a cautery to make Ranma so weak he couldn't even beat up Kouno. Dr. Tofu tried to help but says there's nothing he can do) Shampoo's great-grandma comes to help Ranma too. She shows them one technique that might work for Ranma. It is called the hiryuu shoutenha. Akane and Ryouga are also on their way to find Ranma in the mountains. Ranma figures out that the hiryuu shoutenha technique uses the opponent's force by drawing them into the center of a circle. Shampoo's great-grandma tells Ranma to stay on the circular line that he drew on the ground no matter what happens in order to master this technique. Akane and Ukyou try to help Ranma with the training, but Shampoo's great-grandma says that they can't help because Ranma won't try all out to beat them up. Then Ryouga comes and says that he'll help Ranma, although he can't guarantee that he won't kill him.
Shampoo's great-grandma puts on a metal supporter around Ranma's body
before his training with Ryouga. This supporter will contract when
heated. Shampoo's great-grandma says that Ranma has to say cool, while
his opponent gets hotter and hotter. Ryouga starts attacking Ranma.
Ranma's movement stays on a circular line and was drawing Ryouga
closer and closer toward the center. But, Shampoo's great-grandma
stops them. She hits Ryouga because Ryouga wasn't trying all out. Then
Ryouga says that he's too nice of a guy to try all out against such a
weak opponent as Ranma. Ryouga runs off. When Akane hears from
Shampoo's great-grandma that what is needed is heat, she puts some
cloth around her arms and lights them on fire and starts attacking
Ranma. As Ranma yells at Akane that this is dumb, the fire jumps onto
Akane's clothes and catches on fire. Akane jumps into a lake to
extinguish the flames. Since Akane's shirt got burned, Ranma gives her
his shirt. Then he yells at her for coming. Akane starts to cry. When
Ryouga pops out of the bushes and sees Akane crying with her clothes
all torn, he accuses Ranma of attacking Akane. Ranma, thinking that he
can get Ryouga mad enough to fight him all out, says to Akane,
"I'm sorry. You're so cute and so sexy, I couldn't resist
attacking you." Then Ryouga couldn't hold back any longer and
starts to attack Ranma. Akane says that it's not true and tells Ryouga
to stop, but they keep fighting. Ranma is getting beaten up, but he is
still drawing Ryouga toward the center of the circle. Just when Ryouga
was going to throw the final punch to kill Ranma, Ranma throws his
cold, tornado punch, which sends Ryouga flying.
More about the Shi Shi Ha-Kou-Don and Mouko Takabisha"Now I'm training in Hokkaidou. I'll return in 3 days. Let's fight in the open lot. Don't be late." Ryouga sent Ranma a letter of challenge. There was also a picture of Ryouga in Nagasaki. Ranma waited for 10 days. Then the ground shook underneath him. There was a large blast of energy that sent Ranma flying. It was Ryouga. He said, "I'll beat you with my new technique." Then Ranma attacked Ryouga. Ryouga blasted him with the "shishi houkoudan". Ranma kept trying to attack Ryouga, but Ryouga kept blasting him away. Ryouga was surprised at the strength of his new technique. But he said that it hasn't been perfected yet. Later Ryouga carried Ranma home. Ranma was all beaten up. Akane and Kasumi were surprised to see Ranma in such a situation. Ryouga said that Ranma had been his training partner. Later Ryouga told everyone about his new technique. Soun and Genma had never heard of it. Ryouga was very happy that he had finally defeated Ranma. Later Akane told Ranma to cheer up because they were just training. But Ranma said that he was trying his best. Ranma said that the shishi houkoudan was too powerful. He had to find out the secret about the shishi houkoudan. The next day Ryouga was reading some scroll in the doujou. Ranma tried to take a look, but Ryouga didn't let him. It had some secret about the shishi houkoudan. Ranma asked where Ryouga learned that new move. Ryouga told him. Ryouga had been training, and had gotten lost in some cave. He got trapped inside when some rocks fell and covered the opening to the cave. Ryouga used the bakusaitenketsu, but it didn't work. Then Ryouga met a local construction worker. The little guy taught him the shishi houkoudan. Unlike the bakusaitenketsu, this move worked on people too. Then Ryouga told Ranma that his move had not been perfected yet. Ranma asked Shampoo's great grandmother about the shishi houkoudan. Cologne knew about it and tried to teach Ranma. But Ranma's force was too weak. Ranma said that Ryouga could do it. Then Cologne told Ranma to forget about it, because he couldn't do it. Cologne went away. Ranma thought about losing to Ryouga. He imagined Ryouga living happily with the Tendo family. Everyone said that since there was a strong Ryouga, Ranma was just in the way. Also they said that Ranma and Genma just ate the food without doing any work. Ryouga imagined that he could propose to Akane. Ryouga was carrying a bouquet of flowers and crashed into an electric pole because he wasn't paying attention. Then Akane spotted Ryouga. Akane said that there was something she wanted to talk to him about. Then Ryouga said that there was something he wanted to talk to her about. Akane said that Ranma was feeling very sad. She wanted Ryouga to make Ranma happy because they were good friends. Ryouga started to propose to Akane, but since he heard this, he became very sad and he walked away.
Ranma found Ryouga walking down the street. Ranma asked to see the
shishi houkoudan again. But Ryouga wasn't in the mood. Ranma kept
asking him anyways, so Ryouga blasted Ranma. Ryouga's eyes turned red
and it was much stronger than before. Ranma thought it was getting
closer to perfection. Ryouga was camping out in the open lot. A cute
girl came up to Ryouga. (Ranma-chan in disguise) The girl said,
"I have always like you. You defeated the very strong Saotome
Ranma." Then she said, "I want to see the scroll," in a
very cute voice. Instead of the scroll, Ryouga said that he would show
her the move itself. Ryouga tried he move. But it failed. Then it
failed a second time. On the third time it finally worked. The blast
caused the hot water to be spilled on to the girl. Ryouga got very mad
and blasted Ranma away. Ranma couldn't stand not knowing the secret of
the shishi houkoudan. Then Genma and Akane came. Ranma yelled,
"Leave me alone!" and blasted Genma. Ranma had used the
shishi houkoudan. Then Ranma tried all night to use this technique
again. But it didn't work. Ranma couldn't figure out why it had worked
just once. Akane told Ranma to give up. Then Ryouga came and told
Ranma that he should give up because he couldn't do it. Akane asked,
"Ranma, did you lose to Ryouga?" Then Ryouga answered and
said that Ranma had lost twice. Ranma got mad. Ranma used the shishi
houkoudan to blast a hole through the wall around the Tendo yard.
Ryouga and Akane were surprised. Ranma figured out that the secret
behind the shishi houkoudan was "kiga omoi" (a heavy
feeling). Ranma was happy now and tried to blast Ryouga. But it didn't
work. Then Ranma felt upset that it didn't work. Ranma tried again and
it worked, because of his unhappy feeling. Then Ranma and Ryouga took
turns blasting each other, and making themselves unhappy. Soun came
and yelled at them for destroying his property. Both Ranma and Ryouga
became sad. Then they blasted Soun away. They kept taking turns
blasting each other. Cologne came and saw what was happening. She
said, "Ranma can't win." Ryouga said, "I had always
lost to Ranma. I'm bad in directions. I don't have a girl
friend," to make himself depressed. Ranma said, "I have this
weird body.. Turning into a girl." But Ryouga got very upset and
said to himself, "Pig." Ryouga shouted to Ranma, "You
can't defeat me in comparing unhappiness." But Ranma said,
"Give me one week. I'll get more unhappy than you." Cologne
said that this technique would be very frightening if they perfected
it.Then came the next episode of this very intresting story Ryouga was thinking that he had to master the shishi houkoudan before Ranma. In the scroll it said, "Think of something bad and make your feelings very heavy. There you did it... But... This is only the basics. To master the shishi houkoudan... [downward arrow]." Ryouga couldn't figure out what the downward arrow meant. At the Tendo home, Ranma told Kasumi that if he lost, he wouldn't eat anything. He also told Nabiki that he would be his slave. Akane said that his unhappiness was not that much. Ryouga fell into a sewer, and turned into a pig. Kasumi wondered which was more unfortunate, Ranma or Ryouga. Nabiki quickly said that Ryouga was. Ranma had a dream. Ranma was starving and running around. He saw Ryouga sleeping in a sleeping bag looking very happy. Ranma blasted Ryouga. [In real life] Ranma was in front of the refrigerator. He was stuffing his face with the food. Ranma had been starving himself. Then Genma came and kicked Ranma. Genma told Ranma that the shishi houkoudan didn't suit Ranma. Genma was going to teach him another technique. Outside in the Tendo yard, Genma set up for his technique. Then he just yelled insults at Ranma. The next morning, Ranma got mad and created a huge energy ball. Ranma thought he can do the shishi houkoudan. He tried again. But Nabiki flipped up Akane's skirt, and the ball disappeared. Ranma got upset again. He released another energy ball. It went up into the air and circled back at Ranma. When Ranma got up after the explosion, he said that he could see it. He became full of confidence, and said that he could counter the shishi houkoudan. Ryouga was in the public bath thinking about the "down arrow". Then he saw the water coming out of a statue's mouth. Ryouga looked at it. He took a rubber fish and put it in the water. He saw it sink. Then Ryouga yelled out that he discovered the secret for perfecting the shishi houkoudan. In the middle of the street, Akane asked Ryouga if he was really going to fight Ranma. Ryouga asked Akane to say to him, "I hate you." Ryouga begged Akane. Then Akane said it softly. Ryouga yelled that he didn't want to hear it and ran off. Akane then saw an enormous energy ball in the distance. Ryouga had created a huge crater in the open lot. He said that he had perfected the shishi houkoudan. At the school grounds, Ranma was waiting for Ryouga. Ryouga arrived three days late. Ranma was full of confidence. Ryouga said, "I threw away my happiness. I'll pound the hell out of you." Ryouga blasted Ranma, but Ranma created an energy ball to block Ryouga's. Ranma said that he can counter the "heavy feeling"(sadness) of the shishi houkoudan with his "strong feeling"(confidence). Then Ryouga said that he had become more unhappy. Ryouga used his most powerful shishi houkoudan so far. Ranma was surprised at the size of it. Ranma couldn't block it, as his confidence level decreased. Ryouga was in the middle of the blast but he was still unhurt. Then Ryouga fired again, and Ranma couldn't block it. Cologne wondered what had made Ryouga so unhappy. Then Akane remembered what she had said to Ryouga. Ryouga tried to fire again, but Akane ran up to Ryouga. She said, "I like you Ryouga." Ryouga became very happy when he heard it, and lost the power of his shishi houkoudan. Then Akane said, "Let's stay friends forever." The thought of being "only" friends with Akane forever made Ryouga feel lower than before. Ryouga's blast became stronger than before. Ranma was getting blasted. Ryouga was getting hit by his own blast too, but he wasn't getting hurt. Then Ranma spotted the change in Ryouga's facial expression as the shishi houkoudan landed. Ryouga said, "I won," and started to walk away. But Ranma had a thought. He said, "One more." Then Ryouga blasted Ranma again. Just as the blast was going to land, Ranma yelled out, "You can see Akane's panties!" Ryouga looked up and the blast crushed him this time. Ranma was right in his guess. Ryouga was releasing his feelings as the blast landed. So the blasts have been going by him. Ryouga asked, "How many times do you think this will work?" as he got up. Then Ranma said, "I kissed Akane." This brought Ryouga down to the lowest level. Akane shouted that it was a lie. Cologne wondered why Ranma make Ryouga increase the power of the shishi houkoudan. Ryouga unleashed his strongest shishi houkoudan. Just when the blast was coming down, Ranma jumped to use the power of the shishi houkoudan. Ranma yelled out, "It's a lie that I kissed Akane." Ryouga looked up. Then Ranma threw a punch into Ryouga with the full force of the blast. Ranma defeated Ryouga. Later at the Tendo home, Akane told Ryouga again that she did not kiss Ranma. Ryouga said that he was happy. Hmmm, that's all I know for the techniques. Marriage for Ranma!?Hey hey. Let's analyze who Ranma gets married for the peepz that hasn't seen the last Ranma episode yet, not to blame you guys but it's Viz Video's Fault. Dayum people realease 1 tape a month, people will get to see the last episode of Ranma in the year 2007! Anyway, here's the analysis.Ranma is married to three girls. See if Akane wasn't in the picture then who else would he marry. The last episode, like everyone knows, he will marry Akane, or will he, they were about to get married then bam, Shampoo and Ukyo threw bombs and destroyed the whole wedding, Tendou and Genma doesn't have enough money to do another wedding, so they cancelled till a later date, so a friend told me, see, now if you choose your spots.
