While I'm working on FAR too many fan fiction series, I've got a bunch of other fict ideas that I might one day write. I probably won't though. I do have something resembling a life. This list is here to see if anyone wants to use any of my ideas. Asking me to write one of these won't do much good. Now, if you like an idea or teaser and want to use it, just ask me: archive@mich.com
Evangelion: Angelian War
Genre: Original Flavorish
Teaser
Very
rough plot
The last angel has been destroyed, and Earth's defenders look piss poor. Shinji is mentally unfit to pilot. Asuka is in a coma. Rei III is having a few mental problems and doesn't have a unit to pilot. Evangelion unit 3 is almost ready, but will Toji be a pilot?
Why does it matter? The angels are done, right? Not according to the Dead Sea Scrolls. An invasion is about to begin and if the Earth forces can live through the blitz assault, then they might be done (author may want to extend things or change reason for the attack). Fortunately, NERV is equipped to deal with having dozens of Evangelion units and they get a few.
Warning: Kensuke gets an Eva Unit, run in fear!
Patlabor: Inappropriate Relations
Genre: Original Flavorish
Idea and teaser revised 5-28-00
Chapter
1
Asuma and Noa are accused by internal affairs of having inappropriate relations, however, the police brass refuse to do anything about this case. Why?
Asuma does some snooping and finds out that the reason SV2 has been silently exempted from that rule. Apparently his father had discovered that Noa was close to him and convinced the police commission to ignore that any relationship was going on. The commission extended it to the labor divisions so they wouldn't have to explain why those two were the exception.
Noa, knowing about the exception, wants to continue and pursue a relationship. Asuma, however, is caught between wanting a relationship with Noa and not wanting to do something his father approves of. Of course their teammates have their say about this.
"Asuma, if you dump Noa just to piss off your old man...." Ohta snarled while shaking Shinohara like a rag doll. "I'll beat the shit out of you." He dropped Asuma and stomped out of the supply closet.
Asuma's legs wobbled as he stood up, and slowly followed Ohta.
Takeo stood just outside of the door. "Shinohara-kun, once Ohta gets done with you, I'll take a turn as well."
Patlabor: Just Cause
Genre: Serious
A group of Eco-terrorist use labors to destroy part of a construction site. Special Vehicle Section 2 is called in to stop them. Unfortunately, one of them decides to make a break for it, straight towards a crowed market street. Noa and Asuma see him running and know they only have seconds before he'd start stepping on people on that street. The rouge labor has only one real weak spot, and Asuma orders Noa to shot it- which is the cockpit. Noa calls out that there has to be another way, and Asuma yells at her to do it. Noa fires and hits.
The pilot in the rouge labor died from the shot and Noa has to cope with her actions. While the police praise her, she is upset that she used Alphonse to kill. Asuma tries to help her, but Noa is upset at him even after finding out that he was correct about that was the only way to stop the labor in time. Ohta makes her feel worse. Gotoh gets Kanuka to pay a visit and gets her to help Noa. Kanuka does help to a degree, since she has been in that situation while in New York, but she knows that part of Noa's problem isn't that she killed- but that Alphonse 'killed.'
Not sure where to go with this from here. Probably this would trigger the last straw for Noa and cause her to leave the force. She'd then likely goes to work for Shinohara as a test pilot or something.
Escaflowne: Relative Revelation
Genre: Divergence, Original Flavor (serious)
From episode five when Hitomi is doing a reading for Allen as a test, Hitomi gets a vision. In the vision she learns why Allen's father left the family. It was in search for Atlantis and, more importantly, the girl from the Mystic Moon that he had fallen in love with. Hitomi also discovers in his attempts to find the girl and Atlantis, that he had spent an extended period of time with the girl in frozen northern regions of Gaea. During that time the girl had become pregnant. Hitomi realizes that the girl was her grandmother and Allen's father is her grandfather, which makes Allen her half-uncle. Hitomi tells Allen about Atlantis and the girl from the Mystic Moon, but not that they are related.
It should then jump a few episodes as it isn't until princess Mellerna rejoins after leaving Asturia that things start to change. Mellerna and Van had noticed and think back about how Hitomi acts close to Allen, but something is odd about it. When Mellerna talked to Allen on the parapet, Hitomi gave her a thumbs up. While Mellerna is operating on Allen, Van and Merle overhear Hitomi pray that "Uncle Allen" will be all right. They confront her later about it, and she tells them that she is related to Allen through her grandfather, and that they shouldn't tell anyone about it.
From here the remainder of Escaflowne becomes vastly changed. Instead of trying to steal Allen from Mellerna, Hitomi is trying to help them get together. She makes some mistakes, but does eventually see that Mellerna marries Allen. Hitomi starts to realize her feelings for Van earlier since her confusion with Allen is removed because he's her uncle and not a viable romantic choice.
Escaflowne: Double Life
Genre: Continuation, Original Flavor (serious)
After the Escaflowne anime series, Hitomi returns to Earth and attempts to be a normal school girl, however she still has the powers she demonstrated on Gaea. A week after she returned she gets hopelessly lovesick for Van and teleports to him. She spends over a week with him before getting too homesick and returns to Earth. After a few more teleports Hitomi begins to understand to how to control it and realizes she could now split her time between worlds.
Being one of the greatest psychics on Earth and getting engaged to a king, causes the power to go to her head. She becomes a bit of a snobbish bitch. It's not until her school prom that puts her back in her place. One of the students in her class had gotten overdosed on a drug, and Hitomi got a vision just before he would fall from the gym's rafters. She calls attention to him hoping someone would stop him from dying, but the vision came too late and he fell. Van had acted immediately and flew up to catch him. The class was shocked to see a man with wings, and called him an angel. Hitomi yelled at him for revealing his wings, but couldn't retort that it was the only way to save the student. When those at the prom started to approach them, Hitomi panicked and teleported herself and Van to Gaea.
When Hitomi tried to return, her classmates looked at her in fear, thinking that she was a messenger of god, a goddess, a demon, or something- just anything but human. Hitomi only had her grandmother, her mother, and Yukari left at Earth, while on Gaea there was Van, Merle, Allen, and the rest of her friends- not to mention Van's kingdom. She returned to Earth for visits, but Gaea is now her home.
Potential dark humor omake chapter: Hitomi is nine months pregnant with Van's child and gets stressed out. The baby also gets stressed in reaction and extends his/her wings. Hitomi realizes this and knows she needs a C-Section. She teleports herself to the best doctor that could deliver her child. The doctor is Blackjack and he helps her and performs the emergency operation. He is later paid in gold bars.
