Seiyuu Tanaka Atsuko A Little More Info This section is where I stop being a bum and listing other people's translated stats, and start saying as much as I remember. *sweatdrops* Soi-chan was sold as a child by her own family. It looked like she was about 11? They sold her into prostitution, and I'd like to point out that she didn't want to do that. I've seen a few sites that call Soi a prostitute, and she is most decidedly not. It's not even clear whether or not she ever had to actually (searching for a nice way of saying it -.-;;) serve anyone, because our only glimpse of her childhood comes in her flashback as she dies, and you see Nakago step in and kill the man who is trying to use her. Soi was resisting the man herself, so it might have been her first "customer". The scumbag worthless childmolester.die.die.die hits her for giving him a hard time, when who should happen along but Nakago. *pauses so you can swoon if you want to* Nakago was a teenager at the time, and maybe he saw a little of himself in the eyes of the scared little girl being abused by the scumbag. The next thing you see is Soi looking stunned, then Soi looking with absolute adoration at Nakago. No one had ever cared about her or loved her (I mean it was her family that sold her in the first place!), and from that minute on, Nakago was the center of her world. Again, the information is limited, but it seems like Nakago took her in, and she lived with him from then on. Sometime after she became an adult, she and Nakago became more than just friends or family. o.0 Unlike Nakago, who kept his mouth shut about anything involving personal feelings, Soi is quite verbal about how much she loves him. She tells the Suzaku Seishi that she isn't fighting them because she feels they are her enemies, but because "she'd sell her soul to the devil for Nakago". Which brings me to my last point. ^.~ Despite how much pain she went through, Soi never lost the ability to care about other people. She never shut her emotions away. She's the only Seiryuu Seishi that knows how to work as a team, and she saves several of her fellow seishi when they are in trouble. She even works with Tomo (who she despises, because he loves Nakago too. V.V) when it's necessary. Hey, she even helps her ENEMIES. o.0 She tells Miaka she wasn't raped, and then points her in the right direction to find Tamahome, even though it would have been the perfect opportunity to blow her away. Soi is beautiful, smart, capable, loving, and admirable. I think that covers it. ^-^ |
