You hear a voice in the back of your mind telling you:

"This is the place. This is where you'll learn. Learn about the..."

Sit down and I'll tell you a story. Ready? Too bad. Once upon a time, there existed an anime show called Sailor Moon. This show was well loved through all the land, and the characters each had their own personalities, flaws, strengths, endearing idiosychrasies, and fan clubs!

One day, on a newsgroup totally dedicated to this show and the discussion of its contents, two of the most respected of the starry-eyed started hitting each other with increasingly powerful weapons to proclaim the divinity of their 'chosen one.' Following the weapons was a 'storyline.' The authors made characters to do their fighting for them, built fortresses, gathered allies, and began plotting against their enemies. They took over their own corner of the newgroup, marking their posts differently, because they were. Different, I mean.

So where does that leave us now? ...I'm... not sure. Just about the only things that are constant in OtakuWorld are insanity and an overwhelming love for the senshi. After all, that's what the Otaku Wars! are all about!

If you haven't already experienced the Otaku Wars! (exclamation point always included!), then you're missing out. Never fear, though. I have so much for you to look at. Go ahead scroll to the bottom of the screen and you'll se what I mean. Of course, you can always go to the source. The posts are on alt.fan.sailor-moon, and you can always look on Deja News for them. Be sure to look for the posts marked with [OW!}

You may notice a letter or a few numbers after the OW!, but don't worry. None of these idiots can tell you what season it is. So ignore the [OW!99], [OW!Y], and the [OW!Whatever]. It's all the same. Silliness!

We're just here to hit each other over the head with large blunt objects and crash each others' parties (of which there are many!) with large vehicles. As long as there's a salad bar, though, you should be fine.

I have so many close friends from the Otaku Wars!, and it's odd that something like this can produce such friendships, but it has. I guess even though I am no longer in the OW!, we will always have that common event in our past. I will always classify myself as one of them. As an Otaku Warrior...

...A nut!
