Hello, My name is Seon-young, and I am a postbac student in the program in Linuistics at the University of Florida. I took the course TSL 6372which was designed for developing ESP (English for special purpose) materials. We were tasked with creating a web page that focuses on a topic of interest to teachers. With my site, I focus on oral communication, which includes pedagogic themes (Group Work, Dialogues and Role Play, and Audiovisual Aids), and speech events or particular speech acts (Conversation, Oral Presentations, Academic Spoken English, and Functions in Speaking).
