ORDER OF BUSINESS: The meeting was called to order by the newly elected president for the purpose of focusing on the direction on which the PACP organization is heading and to meet the outgoing and incoming elected officers. It started with the introduction of the attendees as called by the newly elected president. The president appreciated members and officers for electing him for the position to help the organization move forward and reunite the entire Filipino-American community in the area.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: There were no unfinished business submitted. However, there was a lot of information received by the newly elected president with regards to running the association. All inputs were appreciated since the president is in the learning process of how to run the organization.

1. The Induction Affair – discussed whether the dinner will be a potluck affair or will be catered. The membership voted to have the event catered.
2. The date of the induction was discussed and the dates selected were 2/12, 2/19, 2/26 and 3/4/00. Ernie Gameng and Zeny Abdon will explore and check the possibility of having Ramada Inn, Williamsburg as the possible location. Findings will be reported at the next meeting on Sunday, Jan 16,2000.
3. No fundraising will be initiated in this event. (Just fun.)
4. Jing Belmonte delivered the rules and by-laws of the PACP to the newly elected and interested members.
5. The President and/or solicited chairpersons and members of the following committees: (see attached)
6. The President was not able to present his agenda as the meeting was presumed to be a lengthy one so it was called to adjourn prematurely. These will be presented on the next meeting on Jan 16,2000 if the membership will be interested to hear his goals and objectives for this administration. It was suggested that the meeting should last only for an hour.

We were invited by the Avanzado’s to hold the next meeting at their residence at 305 Pear Ridge Circle, Newport News on Sunday, Jan 16,2000 at 2:00 P.M. The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 P.M.
