Christmas in the Philippines was so beautiful. The decorations and lights were awesome! The Christmas capital of the Philipines is Imus, Cavite. All the streets were decorated with Chirstmas lights and parols. The picture below is a street in Imus. I was inside the van, so, my aim wasn't too good.
In Kawit, there is a big parade called Maytinis. It is held on Christmas Eve. Everyone lines the streets to watch the parade. Each float depicts stories from the bible, Christmas theme and saints. Each town has their own saint that they pay homage to. Kawit's saint is Mary Magdelen. Below is St. Augustine, the patron saint of Tanza.
