My Opinion
Well, like everyone else, this anime series happens to be my favorite. The story is unbeatable, with its interesting cast of characters and its powerful but mysterious Evangelions, and with a marveling and strange plot. I couldn't stop watching the series once I had seen it for the first time. Now AD Vision has finished the releasing of the commercial copies of the series. So I recommend obtaining your own copies if you haven't already..

Story overview
During the year 2000, an incident entitled the Second Impact occured and whipped out half of the human race. Now, the year is 2015. The war deciding the fate of human kind is being waged against the entities known as Angels. Shinji Ikari, one of the few chosen to pilot the incredible Evangelion humanoid android, arrives in Tokyo 3 not knowing of what is to become of him. The first appearance of an Angel in fifteen years. The 3rd angel is destroying Tokyo 3 and Shinji is the only available pilot to fight against the Angel...
