![]() | Final Zone II was a good Ikari Warriors style game in which the player manuevered powersuits with a variety of weapons through several stages in the usual battle of Good Vs. Evil. The voice acting in the American version is some of the WORST I have ever heard! I thought of sampling each version to prove this, but I didn't want to hurt visitor's ears! |

![]() | Cyber City OEDO was a good anime. It had an excellent story as well as plenty of action and gore for those so inclined. The game on the other hand. . . Well, I only paid 980 Yen! Lords of Thunder is one of my favorite shooters. The Sega CD version is terrible, mainly due to it's lack of colors. The PC Engine version however is vibrantly colorful with a soundtrack that keeps the tension. The bosses are huge, slowdown is rare, and the difficulty level is just right for people like me who are impatient with action games. Buy powerups and shields! First stage boss |

![]() | The first Ranma 1/2 game is a simple sidescrolling action game that follows the early plot of the TV show. Not that great. The interactive comic, on the other hand was a complete riot! Plenty of animation and speech, which is interesting considering the game is CD Rom and not Super CD Rom. Hmmm.

![]() | Dragonslayer was a stereotypical RPG series in terms of plot, but was nonetheless well designed. One of the best things about this series in my opinion is the fact that you can ALWAYS run away from the monsters! This doesn't mean they can't FOLLOW you though! |

![]() | The precursor of Symphony of the Night on Playstation, Dracula X on PC Engine had excellent colors and cinemas. Check out these screenshots: Dracula's Castle Destroy the town invaders! Gunbuster Volume 2 is a "Fan Disc" that contains a smaller version of the complete OVA volume in interactive comic form, a couple of games, and lots of other tidbits and goodies. At least to my knowledge a Volume 3 fan disc was never released. |

![]() | The first volume of the Demon Hunter Yooko two part series is horrible, but the sequel is superb! It is one of the best interacive comics I've played. It is full of vibrant colors, animation, and SPOKEN dialogue! This game is a must play, and I'm not even a Yooko fan! |

![]() | The 3x3 Eyes interactive comic is one of the BEST examples of the power of the PC Engine! It is Arcade Card compatible and is one of the precious few PC Engine games that can actually be said to have true FMV. "Saraba, Chikyuu yo~! Tabidasu fune wa~! Uchuusenkan. . . YA MA TO~!" Yamato on PC Engine! Relive the highlights of the trip to Iscandar and back in this thoroughly animated, almost realtime strategy game. Launch fighters! Make split decisions on what section of the Yamato to fix next! Enjoy the cinemas! |
