Littleone speaks~

It's about time for another spiel... :) Another random sampling of what goes on in our lives. First of all, i would like to say that Thanksgiving was good, the turkey was yummmee, and i can sufficiently rejoice in the fact that I'm finished with my UC Apps! YAY! Now on to other apps... awww. :( The first thing is that Winter Formal 99 is coming up and for all you people, Go!
Here's a little thing i typed up when i was thinking about stuff this summer. A little big random.. but here it goes..
To all the Asian parents that treat their kids like their trophy and brag about them: Everyone has talents and what they're good at. Who cares if your kid was the first, second or third place winner at a karaoke contest? Why do you care so much that you have to compare? In my eyes, it's the stupidest thing. For gosh sakes, your kid's confidence depends on your own encouragement and not by comparison.
Believing in something is better than believing nothing at all. (on atheism)
The world is full of geniuses but most importantly we are all human and we make mistakes. The divine part is trying to pick up from your details and mistakes. There is not one person in this world who hasn't lost something. man becomes truly humble in defeats but heaven sent when dealing with them. life is a series of dealing with defeats and carrying on. People cry, divorce, dance, get crippled in the blink of an eye and yet the world carries on. Seasons come and go.. just a huge circle. A circle is more than just x squared + y squared = r squared.
You know, since life is a charade and we, therefore, are the ones to carry the charade on, must we fall in the midst of selfish tragedy? Surely one shoudln't care about nothing at all, but it's important that one is realistic yet genuine and sincere, and in that we can soar and find the joy of living. I believe everyone has that potential not only to rise up, but be great in their own terms.
we cannot be concerned with all the "whatifs" or "what might have beens"-we can only be concerned with 'what is.." and "what might be.." life is a roller coaster ride. It's only from your vantage point. When you're down, you have the heavens and all the stars to look up at. And that makes the difference. Because you know that you're soon to be up with the stars and you ahve only good things awaiting you.
Anyways.. as deep or corny or whatever you guys think this spiel is.. i'm done;) bye byez!
