THA SumMEr of 1999 is here ! :) this is the last summer of the millenium and there have been some hot movies coming out.

Wild Wild West - Opening on wednesday June 30, this summer action flick is packed with things that everyone will enjoy. With its already publicized and highly recognized theme song, "Wild Wild West" by no other than Will Smith himself, it's hard not to love this flick. it starrs Will smith and Salma Hayek with Kevin Kline in it also. The song is awesome and so is the music video.. it also has a clip ... almost like a real movie. It's going to be one of the hits this summer.
Star Wars -The First Episode of the first trilogy, its long awaited George Lucas movie was released a month ago but it is still running strong in the the theaters. With natalie portman as a queen... and the story of Darth Vader as a kid enfolds, this is a must-see no matter what you thought it was supposed to be like before.
Instinct -Cuba Gooding jr. and Anthony Hopkins star in this supposed action flick ... or so it seems. In the previews its seems like a thriller but it actually was a gripping emotional intense drama about a guy that was in love with gorillas. Gooding Jr. plays the shrink that tries to make Anthony Hopkins open up. it ends up very emotional where both sides have learned something.
Notting Hill -Notting Hill is a romantic comedy. Its pace is often slow and you have to get into it and try to understand the female character. She is impulsive and sometimes rather cruel. I didn't like the fact that she wasn't very faithful in the movie, but that was just my opinion. The character of Hugh Grant was adorable and it works. It's a different setting in notting Hill, England.
Austin Powers -Austin Powers has done it again. his famous sayings...'Shag me, babyee..." or "Do you i make you horney babyee... do i?" in his English accent parodies the movies of 007, the 60's and also Wizard of oz. It starrs Heather Graham as a spy that is his new accomplice and also Dr. Evil, played by Mike Meyers himself. And a new "mini-me." Dr. evil seems to steal the show and there are also very hilarious comments made about a certain spaceship in the sky.
Tarzan - The summmer's hot new Disney Flick... it's not to be missed. With a less engaging score as the previous Disney flicks, it shows Tarzan as a more modern guy than previous films have shown him. He slides down the jungle forests and he seems to be skateboarding.
