Why do different people wear different colours of clothes? You may say that it is because of each individual's pyschological liking for the different colours. However, according to some psychologists, colours have their special meanings, for examples:
The above psychological analysis of colours may be true to a large extent for the general public, but may not be true for the Meditators & Spiritual Travellers Society members. The colours of clothes that we wear at different points of time are very significant and meaningful to our physical and soul beings. Basically, there are only 3 colours that we wear and the reasons are explained as follows:-

|
Before a MST member could wear the yellow colour shirt/blouse, he/she has to undergo a 'test' and passes it before his/her Spiritual Master. Passing this ASSOCIATESHIP and subsequently DISCIPLESHIP TESTS means he/she accepts to repay his/her 'karmic debts' in the soonest and fastest way possible through his/her meditation. Thus, he/she wears the yellow colour shirt/blouse in preparation for the 'karmic debts' repayment coming soon. This level is called the 'Cause & Effect' Saint World where he/she begins to repay his/her 'karmic debts' either through his/her physical and/or spiritual form. This is a very difficult period & many 'divine tests' will be experienced by him/her mainly on his/her 5 passions. This karmic repayment of debts could last from 2 - 5 years depending on the individual self. Once it is repaid, he/she will begin to feel an urge to
become a 'full vegetarian' & perform charitable deeds. His/Her psychic & healing powers become more pronounced. Some allergies to certain foods like beef, pork, cigarettes & liquor are felt here. This is the Disciple
level.

Before a MST member could wear this light blue colour shirt/blouse, he/she has to undergo yet another 'test' and passes it before his/her Spiritual Master. Passing this COMPANIONSHIP TEST means he/she will impart the MST teachings to the general public and to perform all the possible charitable deeds that the MST Society has laid down in its Constititution. Thus, he/she wears the light blue colour shirt/blouse in preparation for the busy schedule of preaching, helping and guiding all souls and beings who reach out to him/her. FIRSTLY, a MST member wearing this light blue means he/she has reached the Bodhisattva (Higher Saint) World where he/she begins to feel COMPASSIONATE for especially souls, humans, animals, insects, etc. Increased allergies to certain foods and repulsion to meat are experienced by him/her here. Hence, he/she will begin to become a 'full-time' vegetarian. This is the 1st Inner Blue Circle level.
|
|
SECONDLY, a MST member wearing this turquoise blue means he/she has reached the Bodhisattva - Buddha (Enlightenment) World where he/she becomes more COMPASSIONATE with all souls and beings. More intense allergies to foods are being felt by him/her here. This is the 2nd Higher Inner Blue Circle level. |
|
THIRDLY, a MST member wearing this dark blue means He has reached the Buddhahood (Enlightened) level - the 'Enlightened' Spiritual Traveller' eliminates the 5 passions of Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment & Vanity. He loves all souls and beings in this Universe and blesses them accordingly. Free from human bondage and rebirth. Can transform in any form He chooses and always travels in soul form. He, having reached here, is said to be an 'Enlightened Soul' or BUDDHA. Abstinence from all 'impure' foods and beverages is absolute. This is the Spiritual Master and the highest Inner Blue Circle level. |
|
A MST member wearing this white colour shirt is said to be a 'free or liberated' soul and has reached the level that He had been all this while searching for. This is our Origin and the highest level one could reach. Here, He is said to be 'one with SUKMAD'. It is a state of ONENESS, GLARING BRIGHTNESS, COMPLETE CALMNESS, WONDERFULLY PEACEFUL AND EMPTINESS. "EMPTINESS YET FULL, FULLNESS YET EMPTY."

There are many definitions to vegetarianism. Basically, it simply means that not eating any meat or any product that has life in it. Is an egg a vegetarian product? It is yes and no. If an egg is fertilised, then there's life in it, therefore, it is a non-vegetarian food. However, a non-fertilised egg is a vegetarian food, as it is produced by a single egg by a hen, it has no life in it. Then, what about dairy products, you may ask? As these are the by-products of animals, they don't actually have life in it. Therefore, they are considered as vegetarian foods. Rest assured, as long as you don't kill anything to have them as foods, it is vegetarian. This is the Meditators & Spiritual Travellers Society's definition.
There are mainly 3 types of vegetarians, namely,
1. HEALTH-CONSCIOUS VEGETARIANS
Nowadays, more and more people, especially the youngsters, are becoming vegetarians. You can see many of these young people today in vegetarian restaurants very often at any time of the day. As they are very conscious of their health and 'keep-fit' style of living, they are very diet-conscious. Normally, these youngsters are very educated, too. Therefore, they read a lot about foods, vitamins and other supplements which can keep them young, beautiful/handsome, healthy, fit, strong and which 'promise' them a longer life. Of course, there are other older people who are also in this category. However, the younger generation is catching up with them.
All over the world, there are many active researches being conducted to find out the best methods for Man to live longer healthily. Thus, they came out with lots of health products and dietary supplements for Man's consumption. Some of these products are just a 'placebo', whereas the others are genuine. Medically and scientifically speaking, the best form of vegetarian diet for Man is still lots of vegetables and fruits, which has been proven to reduce/eliminate the following diseases/sickneses:
2. MEDICALLY-FORCED VEGETARIANS
There are many people who are meat and junk food eaters in this world. Consequently, they are down with various diseases/sicknesses. With the doctor's advice and instructions, some of these people in this category are forced to eliminate any meat from their diet for health reasons. They are supposedly to only consume lots of vegetables and fruits, making them to be medically-forced vegetarians. Though this type of vegetarians are rare, they are certainly here to stay.
3. SPIRITUAL VEGETARIANS
Here again, it is subdivided into 2 categories of spiritual vegetarians. They are:-
A. Meditation Vegetarians
These are meditators who turn into full vegetarians once they take up meditation. They believe that by going into full vegetarianism, they can achieve 'the highest form' of meditation. Most of these vegetarians also do not take eggs and dairy products. Lots of vegetables, fruits and nuts of all sorts form the daily basis of their diet. Some of these vegetarians also exclude spices like curry, pepper, garlic, onion, etc. from their foods. They believe that these excite their body system and emotions which are bad for their meditation and well-being. Also, they do not believe in killing and have a compassion for animals.
B. Spiritual Vegetarians
The spiritual vegetarians are a unique sort of vegetarians who can take non-fertilised eggs and any dairy products in their daily diet. They do not follow others to go into full vegetarianism forcefully by themselves or by their spiritual masters. So to speak, they let Nature/SUKMAD take its course naturally. They go on eating little meat together with vegetarian foods until such time as their bodies begin to purify day by day. Then, one good day comes when they begin to have signs such as an outbreak of rashes, diarrhoea, vomitting and other skin diseases which are signs that they must stop eating meat. This is because their bodies have reached a level of purification and in a new dimension of the divine worlds which only allows 'purified souls' to be welcomed there. Their 'purified souls' reject any 'impure' foods including spicy foods taken by their physical bodies. How soon they can reach this level of purer dimension and abstaining meat to become a full vegetarian, depends very much on each and every individual spiritual meditator/traveller. Compassion and non-killing of any sort of life are very strictly observed here, too.
