PIKACHU F.A.Q.

Welcome to the F.A.Q. I know why you are here... you wish answers to the the questions below!

This is a Pikachu FAQ. FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions.

So, this is a list of FAQ's on Pikachu and the games it's in where we give you the answers. Real basic.

============================================================

So, what are the Questions for the great Chuu?

1) What is a Pikachu?

__________A Pikachu is a type of electric pokémon. Often refered to as an "Electric Mouse" this roundish yellow rodent pokémon specailizes in electric attacks. Found mostly in forests (Viridian Forest) and usually lives in groups. Often shy but can sometimes have an electric personality. When several of them gather together they can cause lightning storms. Most Pikachu are 1'4" and 13lbs. (Pokedex entry #25)

2) What does Pikachu evolve into?

__________Pikachu evolves into Raichu with a Thunder Stone. This forced evolution denies the Pikachu the ability to learn later attacks if it is evolved to early (before L43 in the Game Boy game). The average Raichu is 2'7" and 66lbs. They are found in Power Plants and the Unknown Dungeon (Game Boy location). Its long tail serves as a ground to protect itself from its own high voltage. (Pokedex entry #26)

3) Are there any other types of Pikachu besides Pikachu and Raichu? I mean, just what is this Pikablu and Pikagod I've been hearing about?

________Pikablu is actaully called Marill. It is one of the types of pokémon. Although round like a Pikachu it's fur is blue colored, and unlike the Pikachu which has a lightning bolt shaped tail the Marill has a thin tail with a blue ball at the end. Unfortunatly, we know very little concrete about Marill but we will update this FAQ when we learn more. Anyone having info about Pikablue not in this FAQ please e-mail: Cult_of_Chuu@xoommail.com (Pokedex entry #154)

________As for the Pikagod, no such animal. It's Mythical.

4) What are common attacks of Pikachu?

________It's attacks that are thunder type are Thundershock, Thunderwave, and Thunder, it's normal class attacks are Growl, Quick Attack, and Swift, and it has the one psychic class attack, Agility(GB). As for the Card Game, it's basic attack is Gnaw.

5) Any other tips for raising Pikachu? What HM's/TM's can it learn? What--

________Whoa, Whoa, Whoa... hold on a second! This is just a basic FAQ. If you want facts on raising Pikachu in the Game Boy Game go to the Pikachu Guide section on this site and you can totally learn the best Pikachu raising techniques. (COMING SOON)

6) What's the deal with all those weird Pikachu in your "species" section? Where do I catch a "Pikachii" or a "Pikachaa" anyway?!

________Those Pokémon are ficticious Pokemon we made up. They came out of our warped, twisted, little minds. REPEAT: WE MADE THEM UP. We made their stories up too. The Pokémon and their stories are 100% unofficial. ALL WERE CREATED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE CULT OF CHUU. SO THERE ARE ~*NOT*~ RED AND BLACK PIKACHU RUNNING AROUND THAT YOU NEED TO FIND AND CATCH. Take a breather, it's cool. =]

7) Nash121586./private/.com: How do U clone Pokemon?????????? (Does it work????)

________Cloning pokémon DOES work! I've cloned 3 Mewtwos, 2 Porygons, a Tauros, and 3 Evees with NO lost data!!! What you do is, while trading pokémon via link cable, pick one you want to clone and one you wish to be nullified(lose). As you clone, watch the screen of the GB *getting* the GOOD pokémon in the trade. As soon as it says "waiting", get ready. As soon as the "waiting" windows disappears, the person with the GB who is trading the GOOD pokémon AWAY should turn their GB off. The person GETTING the GOOD pokémon must wait until their screen says: "trade completed" and then turn THEIRS off. After this, disconnect your link and turn on your GBs and continue. You should each have the GOOD (preferred) pokémon.

8) Whereabouts IS the Power Plant and the Unknown Dungeon?

Power Plant:
On the route to Lavender Town, a little before the entrance to the cave, there is a series of little rivers. Use a pokemon with 'surf' to swim along it until you go down and to the left and see a building in the middle of nowhere... cangradulations, it's the power plant! Hope you brought paralize heals...

Unknown dungeon:
At Ceruleon, after beating Gary Oak for being pokemon Leuge champion, go up the Nugget bridge and down into the grass on the left where you get Abras and use 'surf' to go into that water... surf to the left until you see a cave hole... BEFORE you beat Gary, a man would stand there blocking the whole, saying only the grand champion could enter...

As the grand champion, however, he's not there to block you anymore.

9)And another thing, where is the place that I can duplicate items?

To Duplicate items, do the following:

A: THE HARD BUT UNLIMITED WAY

1) At Viridian City, talk to the old man and get him to catch a Weedle for you.

2) Use 'fly' to go to Cinnibar island.

3) Make the item you want duplicates of the 6th item from the top of the list.

4) Use 'surf', and swim along the RIGHT shoreline, where the water and land touch. You should encounter SUPER TOUGH POKEMON.

5) Surf until you fight either "Missingno" or "Mysterio"... DO NOT FIGHT THEM UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR GAME MESSED UP! RUN AWAY!

6) After you ran, your number for the 6th item should be messed up cus you have over 100 of that item...

7) To KEEP the 100+ items, deposit X's 99 in your PC for it... once you save and reload the game, the wierd symbol may go away and you may only have 60 or so... good, but not 100+.

B: THE EASY BUT ONLY DONE 3 TIMES WAY

1) Trade with one of the people in the fossil restoring joint on Cinnibar island.

2) Make the item you want duplicates of the 6th item from the top of the list.

3) Use 'surf', and swim along the RIGHT shoreline, where the water and land touch. You should encounter NORMAL POKEMON of wherever you just were at... BUT KEEP SWIMMING!

4) Surf until you fight "Missingno" DO NOT FIGHT HIM UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR GAME MESSED UP! RUN AWAY!

5) After you ran, your number for the 6th item should be messed up cus you have over 100 of that item...

6) To KEEP the 100+ items, deposit X's 99 in your PC for it... once you save and reload the game, the wierd symbol may go away and you may only have 60 or so... good, but not 100+. That's it! Happy poke-ing!

10) Chinny01 asks: Why does a Pikachu have 2 long ears?

Various answers on this one:

Pikachus Maximus: Becuase it helps them hear the distant munching of apples. And where there are apples, that's where a Pikachu should be!

Void: So they can hear the opening of ketchup bottles!

Pikachii: Beats the #oops# outta me!

11) Chinny01 also asks: Why do Pikachus have funny shaped tails?

PIKACHUS *DO* *NOT* HAVE FUNNY SHAPED TAILS! THAT IS **BLASPHEMY!** TO EVEN SUGGEST SUCH!

AHEM...

THE GREAT CHUU SAYS: Pi-pika-pi! Pikachu, chaaa... pika pii! Chuuu-pika! Chaaaa, pikachu! Pi-pika piiiiii, pi pika chuuuuuuuu! CHAAAAAA! PIKA PIKA!

Which means:

Pikachu have such odd shaped tails,

becuase they act as electric sails!

They keep Pikachu from getting a jolt,

By acting as an energy volt--

From all the electricty that should hound

the loyal pika with tail on the ground!
