A Page Dedicated to High School Music

Welcome to Band Nerd's World! This site is the joint effort of Adam Miller, Michelle Godin, Lucas Pang, and Jessica Zellers. Check out our saxophone, flute, trombone and tuba pages, the first of many instrumental pages to come, or, check out our personal home pages.

You are probably wondering what Band Nerd's World is. Sure, it says that it is dedicated to high school music, but what does that entail? Well, almost anything. If you want to read about your instrument, you can do that at one of our many instrumental pages. Looking for a laugh? Check out our music jokes. We also have a lot of links to other band sites. You should check some of them out, they are quite interesting.

But it is also important to where we got the links. These links were sent to us by various people, all over North America, High School Students, mostly. That is what Band Nerd's World is. High school music is there, and to many people, it is an important part of their lives. We'd like to make that piece of peoples lives, even if only ours, known. There is a poster that says "High School Band is Friends Making Music Together." That is what this page is about, music. Mankind's greatest gift, most profound, deepest, and most personal form of expression. No words to mess things up.

In our society, teens are often underestimated due to their age. That is an incorrect assumption. We have emotions, and this is shown in the music that we make. Music is a gift that is meant to be shared, and what better way to share it, than to share it with friends. Band Nerd's World is the place for that friendship, the place for the sharing.

So, pop in on a chat room, if nobody is there, leave a time when you should be back, and maybe someone will meet you. Have something that you would like to submit? If we get some submissions, we will start something kind of like a quotes page, or the submissions may go into our other pages, if they fit. So, please, get involved, send us stuff that is important to you, share the gift of music with others.

Speaking of stuff, I remember a teacher of mine, he once said that the universe was made up of stuff. Also, stuff is what makes up human beings, the ambiguous thing inside of us, that we all understand, but can't quite explain. Interesting, isn't it?
