As the Quality Assurance Mananger at Gateway I am currently continuing building the QA team and implementing the software qa process for Gateway's eCommerce division. I have a great team of two leads and 8 test analysts and we have a great time testing all the different eCommerce projects that come our way. It was a difficult decision for me to leave PersonaLogic. I dedicated much of my heart and soul into this company. Since I still feel very strongly about PersonaLogic and the technology that Tom and Brad (co-founders) developed, I want to keep this information here: The search engine technology developed at PersonaLogic, Inc. is used to create consumer decision guides for various products. The biggest news for PL recently is have that they were bought by America Online. What this means is they now are a subsidiary of AOL, with their deep pockets and excellent benefits. |

Biographical Information |
I was born in Bytom, Poland, 40 years ago. My father and mother divorced and when I was 12 my mother married a man from the US and so we came here. That was, what seems like, a lifetime ago, in 1972. I spent 3 years in Chicago, getting my first taste of the American culture and lifestyle. This was an interesting transition time. From a Communist run public schools of Poland, to a Catholic school in a Polish neighborhood of Chicago. From blue and white uniforms to red and white. Not much of a disciplinary change at all, really. In 1976, while I was on my first visit back to Poland, my Mom and Step-dad moved to Laguna Niguel in Southern California. Another huge change. From Catholic schools, huge metropolis, with a severe climate, to a beach community public high school -- Dana Hills H.S. -- in a pretty affluent Dana Point, in sunny California. But this was so much more fun!!!! I have lived in San Diego since 1978. I came here to attend college at UCSD, and liked it so much that I just stayed. I've been married 12 years and have an 8 year-old son. My husband and I both work, and our son, Tom, is in second grade. We love being able to ride our bikes to the beach and enjoy a Mocha at the local coffee shop while Tom Jr. plays in the sand. Its one of our stress releasers. As I mentioned above, I have just transitioned to a new job. This created a bit of chaos in our lives because now I have a longer commute and need to restructure some of our daily routines. Favorite Passtime: Reading Sci-Fi novels, however, is my most favorite pass-time!!! Sci-Fi movies is second!! |
