What Shall I Do?

I want to do something special for someone
Who has always been there for me,
Never forcing but only helping,
Holding out her hand in friendship with
Never any pressure for me to take it.


To me this is so important
For you see,
Without special friends such as she, 
And without special people in life like her,
There would be no one to take notice
Of the lost and lonely people of the world like me.


So, if you see that I may seem a little like a grump,
Or that my house is all in a frump,
It is because I spent three full days
Staring at this little box of wires
Trying to make it tell me what to do to make it behave.


All it tells me is the same thing every time.
You still have lots to do to show that special one,
Just how much her friendship means to you.


You see, I have no graphics skills,
And little patience at times to spare,
And when I look back,
All I get is this screen's blank stare.


I hope this little insight into what I want to do
Will help you to realize,
That to me, to be more like you,
Would be such a scream.


So, hopefully this message lets you know,
That you have a real friend,
With lots and lots of locked up
Love and friendship to bestow.
