As of September 1999, all mothers who apply for membership are required to answer the following questions (previous to September 1999, answering the questions was voluntary):

What does gentle mothering mean to you?
Why do you feel that gentle mothering is so important?
Why do you feel that God wants you to parent this way?
Your testimony of how you came to know Christ as your personal Lord and Savior (how you got saved) and/or why do you believe that you are saved?
