Michele and Valerie

This song is one that my daughters performed
a duet lyrical dance to in the last Dance Recital they were in.
They choreographed the dance themselves and
dedicated the performance to me.
They made me intenseley happy with this gesture.
They also performed this duet at a National
Dance Competition in Winston-Salem, North Carolina,
and received 2nd Place.
Their interpetation of the song shows how
2 sisters can indeed be friends, be there for one another, and take care of each other.

Prom 99

These are my two wonderful daughters.

The oldest is Valerie, she is 18, and a 1999 graduate of Guyan Valley High School. Graduating 11th in her class, Valerie served as the Student Government President, the Feature Twirler for the Band, and Captain of the Varsity Softball team, also playing Catcher-primary, and Pitcher - secondary. She was editor of the Yearbook, and a member of the school's National Honor Society, she was chosen "most school spirit" and "biggest brownie", (hehe), by her classmates. Valerie served as a teen board model for the "Rose Tree Boutique", during her Junior and Senior years. She served as "Miss Lincoln County" 1998. During the Summer she plays ASA softball for the West Virginia Storm. Valerie is currently attending Marshall University, she is a Majorette for the Marching Thunder. She plans on becoming either an Occupational Therapist or a Physician's Assistant.. You can check out Valerie's Resume Page by clicking HERE.

The youngest is Michele, she is 17 and a Senior at GV. Michele is a Varsity Cheerleader, Captain of the Dance Team, and Shortstop for the Varsity Softball team. She is Vice Preident of the Student Government, and a member of the National Honor Society. Michele auditioned for and earned a part in "My Fair Lady", which was performed this summer by the Huntington Outdoor Theatre. Michele enjoys dancing, singing, and acting, and is interested in a performing arts career. I hope to have Me'Shell's Resume page ready soon !!

Both girls are listed in "Who's Who Among American High School Students". Both are very active in the community, and school, continue to excel in their schoolwork, and are always listed on the honor roll. I am VERY PROUD of these two girls, they are truly the loves of my life.
