Oh Lord, please help this firefighter
To be skillful and brave.
Please never let me falter
When there are lives to save.

These pictures were taken a few years ago at a brush fire near Temecula, California.
The flames were reaching 50 feet high. It is so dark that it seems like night,
but the pictures were taken around 12:00 noon. The intense cloud of smoke
this fire created could be seen for miles.
