Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are
crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
"So we think cheerfulness
and laughter make for usefulness.
Outsiders are sometimes
shocked when we burst into merriment
over a seemingly tragic
experience out of the past. But why
shouldn't we laugh? We have
recovered, and have been given
the power to help others.
Everybody knows that those in bad
health, and those who seldom
play, do not laugh much. So let
each family play together
or separately, as much as their
circumstances warrant. We
are sure God wants us to be happy,
joyous, and free." - From
the Big Book of A.A.
A mother was reading a book
about animals to her 3 year old daughter:
Mother: "What does the
cow say?"
Child: "Moo!"
Mother: "Great! What does
the cat say?"
Child: "Meow."
Mother: "Oh, you're so
smart! What does the frog say?"
And the wide-eyed little
3 year old looked up at her mother and in her deepest voice replied, "Bud."
