When just about Midnight what should occur?
Well, Let Me Think Now, it's Still Such a Blur,
From Everywhere, All at once now THEY CAME,
Masses of Children All dressed up the Same!

There were Bandits, and Witches, and Monsters Galore,
there was "Jason" and the "Crypt Keeper", need I say more?
and All of the Grown-ups just stood there and Stared!
They couldn't even move! They were all just~ So-ooo Scared!

We'll Consider Our Options, We Must play this just right,
If we don't give them something~ They'll Give Us Such a FRIGHT!

What do we do Now? They are Out of Control!
We're Extremely Outnumbered! They are all Much Too Bold!

What if We Feed Them?~They All Love To Eat!
We'll Give Them All CANDY~and Call It,
"TRICK or TREAT"!

So to This Very Day, on October 31st~
When You See Little Goblins and Start Fearing the Worst!

Just Remember, It's Only a Once a Year Thing~
The Parents Think it's Scary, but It's Just HALLOWEEN!
