We Give Thanks For Our Many Blessings!

Thanksgiving is a National Legal Holiday of the United States of America, celebrated each year on the 4th Thursday of November.
It is meant to Commemorate the "First Thanksgiving Feast" held at Plymouth in 1621, shared by the colonists, called Pilgrims, and the Indians, who originally inhabited the territory there, the Wampanoag People.
The Celebration and Feast are meant to "Give Thanks To God" for a Bountiful Harvest, and a Celebration of Good Health.

Thanksgiving is a Wonderful Time of Year. A time to reflect upon the happenings of the last year, and to Give Thanks for Our Many Blessings. It's also a time of Friendship and Love, and plain common decency. When we put Our Different Religions, Our Heritages, and Our Skin Color aside, and remember that we all belong to One Family. The Family of God, The Family of Man!

Please, Remember This Thanksgiving, We are some of the Luckiest People on Earth, to live in a Democracy where we are All given Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities to achieve, and we have the Greatest Freedom, to be Ourselves, and to Accomplish anything that Our Hearts Desire. Not All Countries are that Fortunate. We Have Much to be Thankful for! Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Assembly, to gather together as a Nation, and Set an Example for all of the World To See! Where else but the United States of America can Ordinary People do that?

Also, Thank God for Your Families, Your Children, Your Life!
They are All Wonderful Blessings that Many Take For Granted Each Day!
We Complain and Fret over Money, or some other "Trivial Thing". Please Remember to be "Humble" Today.

Please Remember the Homeless today, the Children, who through no fault of their own have Lost Parents to disease, the Parents who have Lost Children, Your Neighbors and Your Friends!

Pray for the People of Other Countries,
Who Haven't Enough Food To Eat,
No Warm Clothes To Wear,
No Running Water, or
Adequate Facilities, or Shelter!
Many of "Their Children" are Starving!

Share Your Wealth this Thanksgiving Day,
Whatever You Deem it to be, as Part of
Your Thanksgiving Day Celebration!

If you have a Neighbor who will be Alone today, Invite Them To Dinner! If you know of a Child who desperately needs some Love and Attention, Give It To Them! If you Forget sometimes to Tell The People In Your Life How Much They Mean To You, Tell Them Today! Get Down On Your Knees and Thank God For Letting Them Be A Wonderful Part Of Your Life!
