Yes, there were more than men involved in the Civil War. The women were there to back up their husbands, son, brothers and boyfriends. The women were there to help out where needed, to offer their assistance with a cup of water when they were hot or a warm blanket when they were cold. Unfortunately, many of their stories go untold or unrecognized. I am looking for anything related to women of the Civil War. If you can help me in any way, please help me.
