Abortion punishes the innocent.

"Yes," you agree, abortion punishes the innocent. The innocent unborn child, regardless of the variety of circumstances that led the woman to make such a choice, is the party that has done absolutely nothing to deserve such a fate... save for simply existing. As Pro-Lifers, we cry out at this injustice, begging the opposition to consider the unborn child.

Anti-abortion violence punishes the innocent.

Before you hiss, boo and cry "foul" at my writings, consider that I am not referring to the abortion provider/worker/supporter. I am referring to the children of such a person. Their children... innocent children, who did not ask that they be born to an abortion provider/worker/supporter, punished as a result of another set of circumstances.

Anti-abortion violence, by any other name... is still violence.

We as Pro-Lifers, believe abortion is violence. Replacing one form of violence with another, is simply wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right. If life is to be valued, we must value all life, and we must not participate in the hypocrisy of allowing ourselves to determine who is worthy of life and who is not. This is why if one is truly Pro-Life, one will not only be against this irrational, inhuman and ineffective "solution" to the blight of abortion, one will not hesitate to speak out to bring the message loud and clear to anti-abortion supporters of violence everywhere, that violence is wrong. All violence. Any violence. Being inhuman to one set of people, even rationalized as a way to stop their inhuman treatment of another set of people, is just wrong.

Each act of anti-abortion violence not only places the perpetrator on the same level as the abortion providers, but it takes the true Pro-Lifers back another step in their efforts.

Please then, if you're a Pro-Lifers, speak out. Protest against violence, and encourage another to do the same. Let us see our protest signs carry messages that ALL violence is wrong. Let us show the world community that someday they're going to have to acknowledge the same. Let us show everyone that violence by any other name is still violence; wrong when perpetrated by anti-aborts, and wrong when perpetrated by abortion itself.
