A national, non-profit organization working to alter the course of the AIDS epidemic.  Mission is to provide vital information on the diagnosis and treament of HIV disease to HIV-infected individuals, their caretakers, and their healthcare and service providers.

Provides comprehensive nutrition services to more than 3,200 men, women and children living with symptomatic HIV and AIDS in San Francisco and Alameda counties in California.

San Francisco AIDS Foundation

San Francisco and outside of Northern California: 415-863-AIDS

Northern California: 1-800-FOR-AIDS

Services include: client information and referral services, comprehensive housing solutions, financial benefits and counseling, transportation and clothing, substance abuse and mental health counseling referrals, women's and family services, support groups in both English and Spanish, and specialized programs for people who speak Spanish.

STOP AIDS Project

The mission of the STOP AIDS Project is to develop and implement a community organizing project for self-identified gay and bisexual men in San Francisco which seeks to reduce HIV transmission and lessen the adverse effects of the HIV epidemic on the community.

The Names Project - The AIDS Memorial Quilt Website

The mission of the NAMES Project Foundation is to use the AIDS Memorial Quilt to help bring an end to AIDS.

Q Action's mission is to reduce transmission of HIV among young gay and bisexual men in San Francisco, 25 and under. Q Action programs include FLIQ (a monthly video screening and discussion event), Cafe Chats (an informal discussion in local cafes on specific topics). BOY + BOY (a direct action group), Outreach, and Education Campaigns.
