What time is this we ask of you? | A harvest full of food. To share with all who gather near, and a thankfulness of mood.
What time is this? You ask of me, | Why, it's time for smells of mince meat And pumpking pies wafting on the air From Grandma's kitchen over there.
Time to reminisce of things that we have done

For the hay and the corn and the wheat that is reaped, | For the labor well done, and the barns that are heaped, For the sun and the dew and the sweet honeycomb, For the rose and the song and the harvest brought home.
For the trade and the skill and the wealth in our land, | For the cunning and strength of the workingman's hand, For the good that our artists and poets have taught, For the friendship that hope and affection have brought.
For the homes that with purest affection are blest, | For the season of plenty and well-deserved rest, For our country extending from sea unto sea; The land that is known as the "Land of the Free".

Every November we should just remember ... | That the turkey was "almost" our national bird .... And not until the final votes had been counted --- Did the turkey learn --- That he'd been discounted! So say what you will --- The turkey is still --- A symbol of cooperation and goodwill! While the bird of prey --- Well, what he symbolizes --- I'd rather not say!
