Michael Flynn
Sir Flynno

Michael Flynn, Sir Flynno - [B.Math (Waterloo) '99]  MBA student at York University, working at CIBC both in Toronto, Ontario.  Flynno has recently started his career at the CIBC in the downtown office tower - "welcome to the rest of your life". Mike was a Scout and a Venturer (for one year) with the 81st and has returned for Rovers. Mike is also a Chief Scout, as well as a Queen's Venturer, is working on his Gold Level Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Mike has been very involved with the ORC (Ontario Rover Community) since about 1995, serving on executive as Secretary (1996-98) and Vice-Chair (1999-2000).  And fun was had by all!  Mike is really looking forward to his first International Scouting experience (and one of his last rover activities) as he gets ready to go to the 15th Australian/12th Asia-Pacific Moot in Brisbane this winter.  One of his all-time best quotes: "What's your favourite n-dimensional vector space?"

Why we call him "Flynno"

It all started the weekend that Flynno, Lumberman and Miller took Company Woodbadge Part I. We started adding an 'o' to everyone's name, because we were really bored. Flynno was the only one that seemed to stick, although we usually refer to Lorne Ellis (District Field Executive) as Lorno.
