The Legend of a Dark Unicorn
by Stacy Link
with some help from my friends
Here is a poem to start off the story ... it was Written by Lunar
Freedom Given Back
His eyes filled up with watered pain,
and his fists clenched tight in rage.
Everytime he thought of her
held captive in a cage.
The Jealous Knight had taken her
to where he does not know,
He stares out at the kingdom,
for some a sign of where to go,
A memory flashes by his eyes,
and his lips call out her name
he hears the words his father spoke,
as he said it can't be tamed.
He found her when she was so small,
as she layed beside a lake.
and nudged her mother frantically,
but never would she wake
He gently placed upon his lap,
this baby unicorn,
and made a vow to never let
the Hunters steal her horn.
Late one night the Prince woke
to the sound of jingling keys,
the sight the window showed that night,
brought him to his kness.
although his face he hide in darkness,
a small light still broke through,
and let him see within the tears,
the one thing he could do.
He rummaged through his opal chest,
for a tiny satin sack,
contianing powder, and words to chant
to win ones freedom back.
the words escape his quivering throat,
the powder kissed with the sky,
he smiled as she ran free again,
with thank you in her eyes.
Now for the first part of the story..I will be adding to it as soon as they are done..
