and a few by his wife, Martha (Mattie) Ann Watt Cleland.
It was carried by E H Cleland during his time in the Civil War and contains brief
accounts of his experiences and purchases at that time, songs and poems written during
the war, some family information, and a brief school attendance record of a child.
