Hi I am AH64L




I recently retired from the United States Army Reserve

and was stationed at FORT KNOX, KY. I was assigned to the
8/229th Aviation Regiment, the Flying Tigers. I was
an Apache Helicopter mechanic. They are my favorite
type of chopper. I began working on helicopters in
1981,while on active duty at FORT CAMPBELL, KY.
I started out working on the AH-1 COBRA
HELICOPTER. When the APACHE was introduced
as the new gunship for the ARMY, we were all sent
to school at Fort Eustis, Va and retrained on all the
aspects of it. It is a totally awesome piece of equipment.
