Canoes

Canoes available are 4.5m(15ft) 2 person Wobbygong. This polyethylene(plastic) canoe weighs 36kg and offers unlimited adventure. We believe it to be the equal best 2 person expedition canoe available in Australia. Also, for lakes and flat water rivers we have fibreglass, 2 person open Canadian canoes, Bushman 14. It's your responsibility to ascertain the suitability of rivers and canoes in the current conditions. If we have any current knowledge, we are happy to pass it on.

Trailers

We have 4 canoe trailers. Trailers are $20.00 subject to being available, or are free with more than 3 canoes. Standard electrical connection is small round 7 pin. Adaptors are available to suit most setups. Ropes are not to be removed from the trailers without prior permission.

Accessories

Canoes come with 2 single blade paddles and 2 PFDs at no extra charge. Water tight barrels are available at $1.00 per day

Conditions

The conditions of hire are set out with the hire agreement and in the replacement and cost schedule. Adequate proof of identity in the form of drivers licence is required.

Maps

There are maps and information available from many sources on the rivers in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. We have created our own map of the Upper Brisbane River. The 3 pages cover Wivenhoe to Fernvale Bridge, Fernvale Bridge to Burtons Bridge and Burtons Bridge to Kholo Crossing. Each leg is 17km, 19km and 21km.
