Hobbies

Hobbies are important to us all. Helps to keep the body and soul strong and to enjoy life a little better. Here's some of my hobbies ~ hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Picture of my daughter Amy and Mom in 1988 . I started below project with FEV1's at 27% total lung capacity. I went through some "dust masks".
First get a good bed, start sanding, priming, etc. Then get a good red color the Police like to see from far off.
Hmmmm, 2 barrel orig or the 4 barrel Rochester?
But honey, it followed me home! er.. well would you believe...? Window regulators, new glass, gas tanks, parts, parts, parts..... Betty and neighbors were happy to see this go away and the finished project.
66 Chevy pick up original 283, 3 speed on tree, 6 lugs and short bed. Very good runner but as you can see I did some changes from Fleetside to Stepside bed, replaced the bed with new stained Honey Oak with chrome bed rails and chrome bolts as well as the exterior to a Metal Flake Charcoal Gray with interior shot Gun Metal Gray with seats tuck and rolled Charcoal Gray mohair fabric. Plus the mechanical end, brakes, rear end, etc. Took too much energy and air to drive so sold to another good home. But not to be without a classic....I bought. TA DA!!!
The 63 is all original. After driving for past 5 years I just turned over 39,000 actual miles. After transplant, plan to get a street rod or truck to tool around with my family and enjoy life some more with new vigor!
