GUARDIAN ANGEL (cont.)
"Why are you doing this?" the young woman asks him as the go to the police office.
It took Kevin a few moments till he finally said "I wish I knew, Iīm just happy I did"
"Well, so I am... I guess. Heīll be back Iīm sure, heīll try to kill me... and her" she points at Shell, whoīs sleeping peacefully in his arms.
"I wonīt allow him to"
"Why wonīt you?" she asks surprised
"I said would help you, and I truly will" he looked down at Shell "your daughter doesnīt deserve this. If youīre not doing this for yourself, do it for her"
Arial simply noded. Her new wounds were still sore when all three entered Kevinīs apartment, a few hours later. The police officer said she shouldnīt come back to her house and Kevin suggested she and little Shell could stay in his apartment for a couple of days. A couple of days that turned out to be a couple of months, but he didnīt mind at all. Arial was a beautiful woman, inside and out, but she still had wounds, marks... inside and out.
~MONTHS LATER~
"Well, I guess this is goodbye..." Arial murmured in the airport, just a couple of minutes before boarding to England, to her new house, her new job and her new life.
"Itīs not, itīs just a see ya later" Kevin assured her. Michelle looked up and smiled, tightly grabbing his leg.
"I can never thank you enough" the woman said, hugging him
"You donīt have to thank me" he smiled
"Last call for flight CO725 to Heathrow Airport, London. Please board immediatly through gate A13" the speakers blurted out.

Dear Kevin, I know itīs been more than two years since we last saw each other when you guys came here for some shows. And thereīs never been a day I didnīt think about you and all you did for me and Michelle. Youīd have to see her, sheīs so big! And she misses the months we spent with you, just like I do.
As for my work... the sales department wasnīt the right place for me, but two months ago I got offered a better job, in a Hotel called "Arts". I love it there, it seems like I was made for that job. I read in the newspapers how good your singing career is going, eventhough five years ago you said you were born to be an actor! Iīm sorry we coulndīt go to your wedding last month. I know I made a lame excuse for not going, but the truth is that I donīt want to go to orlando anymore... never again. It brings me bad memories, of me and Marcus. Iīm way better here. Just wanted to tell you Shell and I were thinking about you all that day, and that I wish you the very best, Iīm sure youīll have more luck than I did. I guess Iīm still afraid of getting involved with someone, but you know that Michelle is my priority in life, and my work keeps me extremely busy.
Once again, you are more than welcome to come here and visit us whenever you want to, youīll always be welcome. Take care of yourself and, as you always say, see ya later.
Arial
