CHAPTER 27 - SWEET DREAMS


"Do you love him?" Bianca whispered, her own words scaring her
"What?" Arora mumbled, unsure if she'd heard what she had
"I know he loves you, but do you love him back?" Bianca cried, the pain in her heart bursting into overload
Arora stepped back from the bed, something told her, the look in Bianca's eyes.....She knew.
"You know you can't lie to me Arora, you've never been able to, so tell me, do you love Nick? God just tell me" Bianca begged
"Bianca, I-"
"Don't say it, don't say you're sorry, don't say it wasn't an accident, just tell me, because I cant keep wondering anymore"
"I don't know what to say"
"The truth"
"I care for Nick, but I care for you more"
"Don't lie to me, fuck don't lie to me Arora. You're my best friend, and if there is one thing I know about you, you can't ever lie to me, you cant lie to my face, so don't start now"
"I swear to you Bianca, it's not like that"
"I'm the one that should be in denial Arora, not you. God, just leave" Bianca murmured pointing towards the door.
"Bianca -"
"Leave"
Arora turned around and shot out of the door.

"Rose, what's wrong?" Brian inquired as Arora raced down the hall in a flood of tears
She starred up at him, tears streaming down her face, the shine in his eyes only making it worse, only making the betrayal deeper. She shook her head softly, she couldn't tell him, she couldn't expect him to understand. She slipped past him, and ran as fast as she could out of the hospital.

Brian barged through the door.
"What did you say to her?" he demanded as Bianca lay in the bed staring out the window
She ignored him, hoping he'd just go away.
"God Bianca, what the hell did you say to her" he yelled storming over to the bed.
"You really love her huh?" Bianca choked
"More than anything" Brian said stiffly "What did you say to her?"
"Why don't you ask her Brian, you have the worlds fucking best relationship, why don't ask her huh? Ask her for the truth" Bianca announced harshly "and on you're way out, kiss my ass" she huffed
"You're a spoilt little brat you know that?" Brian stammered
"If only you knew" Bianca mumbled
Brian huffed loudly before storming out the door, slamming it behind her.

~ AT THE SAME TIME ~

"Arora?" a voice questioned from the shadows of the car park
She spun around the moon illuminating her tears burrowing down her face
"Nick?" she inquired as he stepped from the darkness
"Chas, called me she said I should come down, but I don't think I can go up there" Nick said in a hushed tone, as though the stars had ears
"She knows Nick" Arora blurted out
"What?"
"She knows about us"
"You told her?"
"No, she just knows. God why did this ever happen, I never wanted this to happen, god its all my fault she's in there, it's my fault she tried to kill herself, everything is my fault" Arora cried, buckling over
"It's not just you're fault Arora"
"You don't get it Nick. She loved you, yes. But there is nothing that hits deeper or harder than the betrayal of a best friend, I don't deserve anything" she whispered walking into the darkness
"Wait, Arora right now the only person who understands what you're going through is me, don't walk from that"
"How do I make it right?"
"I don't know"
"I cant can I?"
"Time will work things out" Nick whispered leaning in to kiss her cheek
"I want to believe that" Arora sighed before walking away

"Nick" Brian called running from the hospital
Nick spun around to see Brian's worried face.
"Have you seen Arora?" Brian questioned, breathing heavily
"I think she's gone home" Nick replied quietly
"Thanks man" Brian smiled

~ AT THE SAME TIME ~

Tatum cried softly in the silence of the toilet. So much, had happened so fast, and despite her seemingly been in control, she wasn't sure how much more she could take.. she sat for a few moments, just crying, her tears like acid burning holes down her cheeks. She heard the door open, then swing shut. She clamed up, afraid of been seen as weak. The footsteps were heavy on the floor. She listened intently, no cubical doors opened, nothing. She sat deathly silent, something creeped her out, but she wasn't sure what.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, don't you think?" the clearly computer enhanced voice laughed
Tatum said nothing, choosing to remain
"I suppose you know that don't you Tatum, I mean look at you" he taunted "but there will come a time where you'll wish you were never born with such beauty, or hey, even born at all. Are you ready to die Tatum? Sweet dreams" the voice grinned before disappearing back out the door
Tatum sat shocked, her breathe quick and silent, as she sat clutching her bag.
The door opened a second time causing her to jump in fright.
"Yo Lee are you in here" a familiar voice question
"Oh god Chastity" Tatum cried, running from the cubical
"What's wrong? Did a stinky?" Chastity inquired
"Please just get me out of her" Tatum wept fearfully
