| AERATE: THE AERIAL BIOGRAPHY Birthed in fall of 2001 from the recesses of dirt and inspiration of the Ann Arbor, Michigan air, this four-piece band purchased talent with time and raw emotions. Aerial is a full body of hard rock music. From the bombastic suns of Joe Koppin's drums and the sheer flow of Cameron Stinson's bass, to the breathing current of Anthony Reach's guitar and Scott Black's lucid voice. Together Aerial is an assault on the senses: from the extreme live show, to the storming of the imagination when listening to their music. Fed up with the generic, streile trend of modern music, Aerial are set in their ways to help make music a journey of emotions and interesting again. Filled to the rim with a creative array of styles, influences, and personalities they hope to do so as they grow as a band Thought is a major tool thriving in the organized noise Aerial creates. The lyrics are written as an internal reflection on ones self, surroundings, and reality. Lyrics are meant to be interpreted many different ways and to seek some sort of clarity within. The variety of the songs intend to expand the listeners diverstity of music: the beauty of passion and simplicity, as well as the extremes that are reached with aggression, and a mixture of both. Aerial has just completed work on their seven song demo and are looking to further their success by touching all other human beings that haven't been exposed. The songs on the demo range from contentious arguements between each instrument, to an elegant mesh of cogitation. While the demo captures Aerial in the midst of their creative visions, their live show captivates an intensely different side and connection these musicians have with their music. Aerial is determined to steal wide-eyed attention with their story and recovery; with their tales of procession and recession. Aerial does not play music, they feel music in their veins and lungs and outwardly interpret the sensation from one mind to another. |
