Learn how to draw a swirling triangle
Agatha, aka "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood!"
This design was made by dividing a circle into two rings of triangles, and then by swirling each of the triangles to the right.
Rose, a travesty in two dimensions
This design was made by swirling an octagon five rotations to the right, and then five rotations to the left, then five to the right and five to the left, until the center was reached.

This design is a series of three concentric circles of swirled triangles.  The outermost ring swirls to the right.  The second ring swirls to the left.  The third ring swirls to the right.  The interior of the circle is an octagon swirled five rotations to the right, and then swirled left till the center was reached.  Afterwards, I had wished I had alternated the swirl pattern of the octagon so that it switched directions after every five rotations.  Despite this, I still really like this one.  :-)
