Welcome to Barklie's Webpage.

This website is dedicated to Barklie, a 1 and 1/2 year old male, neutered Boxer.

We have thoroughly enjoyed having Barklie in our home for the little time he's been here.  It's clear he didn't have the best situation in his previous home so we feel it's our duty too spoil him while still showing him what is acceptable behavior.  Katie and Barklie are so sweet together, we've really enjoyed watching the progression of their relationship.  Check out the pictures below to get a peek into the clown we call Barklie!

My husband Joe and Barklie some time together.  Barklie must always be touching one of us.  If at all possible he wants to sit in your lap.  As you can see he is a rather large lapdog!

This is Barklie's "I don't get it" face.  When trying to train him we see this a lot.  Once we've found the right combination of words and hand gestures to make him understand, he is more than willing to please!

Barklie is a very large puppy but a puppy he is!  He loves to play with toys and spends hours amusing himself by rolling around with a ball or some other toy.

Anytime I lay down on the couch with a blanket on me Barklie takes advantage of the situation.  As you can see, he has nosed his way under the blanket and is laying on top of me!

Barklie uses his unusual face and adorable expressions to get what he wants.  It's sometimes difficult to tell him no, but we succeed more often than not.

I'm sure I'm biased but I think he's got to have the goofiest and sweetest face around.
