AGSMA Costumes
Fanime Con marked the debut of three new AGSMA costumes!
One instant, and the other two, not so instant.
The not so instant ones proved their worth tho' as they helped to bring in two First Place Awards!

Comments from the Pyxie:
It was my first experience with creating a costume and I was really happy with the turnout. Definately fell in love with heat 'n bond. hehe And my hairstyle. Kawaii! *giggle* Glad I didn't go buy a wig.

I was surprised when we got 1st place cause well..I wasn't expecting it. But from what lots of people were telling me, it may be due to the fact that I aimed for costume to look "natural". The hair, the clothes, ribbons. Amd I find it so much fun to try and pose like the pictures you would find on Vampire Princess Miyu. It helps with representing the character, ne?

My friend JJ who wore the Larva costume was having an aweful time. I mean, his was made with stretch velvet...yards of it! Poor guy was ready to faint from the heat. But it was all worth it since we won. His mask and gloves got the most attention. A friend of his made his mask out of clay and molded it to look like the real thing.

What was even more exciting was meeting Steve Bennett from Ironcats Studios! They're the ones who publish the Americn verison of VPM and he took pics of us and traded email. Yehaawwww! I felt so special. hehe

Okies, other than that everything was a good experience. Well...ummm...I _was_ ticked off that the dance was over when we finished the masquerade. So not fair! But I got to go to the dealers room finally AND watch the OVA of Fushigi Yuugi!! I was in heaven.

Vampire Princess Miyu Vampire Princess Miyu, full of style and grace. And lacking shoes.
Vampire Princess Miyu Vampire Princess Miyu and escort Larva with a very detailed mask.

Laguna and Vampire Princess Miyu Double First Place Award winners at Fanime from the Anything Goes School of Masquerade Arts.
Laguna from the First Place Skit
Miyu from the First Place Walkon.
Laguna and Vampire Princess Miyu Hint people, Vampire Princess Miyu didn't get a boost of steroids, she's on a step in the auditorium
Laguna and Vampire Princess Miyu Soooooo Laguna doesn't make quite a nice backdrop as Larva does in a picture such as this

On to the next part of the Anthology! Part 2!
