| USPS Delivery Confirmation Service IS A JOKE! |
| Here's my other sad experienced with United Postal Service, last December 17, 2007 I ordered "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Complete 8 Series" for my youngest daughter Christmas Gift at Amazon.com On December 27, I contacted the seller for my order he told me that my package has been delivered on December 24, 2007 he included the tracking # and route history in detailed with locations & time & date. That same week I also lost package ordered from Buy.com. Not to mentioned my other 2 neighbors. The truth is unless you paid for "Sign Delivery Receipt" postman from USPS does not care if you are home or not they just left the package in the apt. lobby or infront of your house easily taken by strangers or passerby. As far as USPS concern the package has been delivered, the rest is your problem to go after the merchant who send them to you. Unlike UPS, Fedex or DHL they will ring your door bell and if they don't see you they will leave you a note. I remember few years ago before moving here in Woodside, Queens our postman used to leave us a reciept of "An Attempted Delivery" I am not really sure if this is cumpolsary to all postman working at USPS? |
