POEMS
These pages are dedicated to the poems that were written for us, the poems that were given to us, the tender, warm words written for us, and the pictures that were drawn for us.  They all are beautiful and we appreciate them so much.

Please do not copy the originals that our friends have written without written permission from us and the authors.  Thank you.
This first poem was written by a very close friend of ours.  Jules Audet was our neighbour in the town that we used to live in.  He is a beautiful person and plays an important part in our children's lives.  Our kids call him Uncle Jules because of his extraordinary love, friendship, and support.
Noah walks along the beach,
holding Grandpa's hand,
so calm are the waters, they are as clear as crystal.
They walk on the whitest sand.

The Golden Walls of Heaven shine upon them,
and there is no need for the sun or moon,
because the Glory or God surrounds them
as they say, "We'll see you soon".

Heaven's Gates are always open
and God walks with Noah and Grandpa, together;
till the day we dwell in the House of the Lord
and rejoice again forever.

Uncle Jules and Noah
~ summer of 2001 ~
This next poem was written by our friend's daughter.  Crystal was nervous around babies but she took to Noah immediately and she would hold him and cuddle him.  The only thing she couldn't stomach was if he would spit up.  And it just happened that she was babysitting for us one night and Noah threw up all over her. But she did it. She was completely grossed out, but she managed to change Noah and take off her sweatshirt with no ill effects.  Not to mention, roll up her sweatshirt and wash it right away!  This incident will be with us forever.  It is another one of those precioius moments.
Noah

You were only here for two short years,
Now you're gone and I shed my tears.
I'd hold you tight within my arms,
You died in the place you loved the most, on the farm.
Your mom and dad loved you ever much so,
They never wanted to let you go.
I was there just after you were born,
Now that you're gone, my heart is torn.
I'll never forget the moments I had with you,
And all the feelings I had for you were true.
Noah, we all know that you went to a better place,
Don't worry, no one will forget your precious little face.
