Hi, I joined a paper
create mailing list at yahoo groups. We were discussing how to tie the roof into
the wall structure and the foundation structure so the roof would not blow off. Surprise,
I have no foundation for the foam walls... So take a look at the picture and
see what you think....
Cinder blocks filled
with cement and bolts, on top of the cinder blocks will be a 2x4 on its side the
bolts will stick through and be bolted down. The the Struts? (not sure this is
the proper names) will be across the space and the uprights to form a wood
structure frame the wall cap will incorporate these wall uprights., locking the
cap to the uprights thus locking the group to the cinder block foundation. now
the tresses used for the roof will be bolted to the cap locking it all together.
