Thought of the Day:
"The reason that worry kills more people than work, is because there are more people who worry than work."
-- Robert Frost
Sunday Brunch
THIS AND THAT
1. What is your favorite kind of sandwich?
This would be a tie between a grilled peanutbutter and jelly sandwich, and a peanutbutter and banana sandwich.
The PBJ needs to grilled lightly, just enought to warm everything up. I'd rather have that than chocolate anyday.
If you've never tried it, give it a chance and you might get hooked too.
2. Can you play any musical instruments?
Not well. I can't carry a tune either. I love listening to music, but unfortunately I am not able to contribute.
3. How often do you get your hair cut?
Not often often. I'm in dire need of hair cut right now. I'm just postponing the expense as long as I can.
My last hair cut was in October, but I trimmed my own bangs about a month ago.
4. Where is your favorite place to shop?
Online. I prefer shopping without the crowds and long lines. Visit here for some recommended online stores.
Of course, I get my groceries from grocery stores, like Tops (which recently was bought out by Giant), or my local Big M.
5. What did you do this weekend?
Nothing too exciting: I've stayed indoors all weekend to avoid freezing to death.
I've been trying to think of new ways stay warm and conserve heat.
Besides the boring everyday/every weekend stuff (laundry, cooking, dusting, vacuuming, taking care of the pets,...), I baked applesauce spice muffins Friday night, which are very good. Want one?

I spent time on the phone with friends and family, caught up on e-mails and journal reading, (I've been reading more online journals the past few months.
It's interesting to read how other people are having life issues, and see how they are dealing with them).
I researched a tax question a friend had. I updated my other web page.
A couple people had commented that my welcome page was causing their browser to crash after I added the Weather Pixie.
I reduced the number of animated graphics and made some other modifications, but I kept the Weather Pixie.
If you ever want to know what the current weather conditions are in Rochester, NY, click here.
The current temperature is 23 degrees, which is a heat wave compared to the temperatures we've had lately.
Matter of fact, it was so cold the other night that the new neighbor's water pipes froze.
John climbed up above the drop ceiling, found their pipes and took up a heating pad with an extension cord to heat their pipes up.
How many people do you know that would do that for a neighbor, especially when they are not the most pleasant neighbors in the world?
I played with PSP, trying to teach myself how to utilize the program to create interesting graphics.
The background on this page is something I created using PSP.
Let me see, what else have I done? I hung up a picture of MacKenzie, I edited some digital photographs, ummm....am I boring anyone with this list yet?
OK, OK, ...let's end it at creating this journal entry.
Thanks for reading!
