Chance, 3 weeks, this snapshot is my very favorite of Chance. He is so beautiful
in this picture. It was just a small image of him, but my fav!
Chance napping in his swing, I wore his passy around my neck on a chain
for a long time, now it is in Chance's hope chest.
This is the last time I held Chance in my arms. It was something I had to
do, and it was so very hard. I will forever yearn to hold him in my arms again...
This is my beautiful baby, lying peaceful at rest in God's arms. We had
friends and family place special things in his casket. The blankie was made by his
great great grandmother, she does this for all the new babies that are born.
The cross was from Chance's daddy and I. Many other things were added later...
This is our son's final resting place, in Durham, NC. I chose the prettiest
casket that the funeral home offered. It was dreadful, to have to make these kinds of choices
for our perfect little baby, yet somehow it was done, and Chance had a beautiful memorial
service, and we were treated so well, by everyone that touched our lives during the
most troublesome time in our lives.
