In the beginning of Sept 2003 we learned that I was pregnant again. Needles to say this was quite a shock to us, since it had only been a few weeks after Nevaeh had passed away. I went to the Dr. to confirm my positive home pregnancy tests and to get my due date; which is May 12, 2004. Yes, I am due just one month before Nevaeh's 1st birthday.
I had an ultrasound done at 9 weeks to confirm my due date. It also gave me a little reasurance that things were looking good at this point. We also wanted to wait to tell family until after this appointment.
During the first trimester, I did have a few problems. I was put on a few restrictions and given a couple more ultrasounds. Everything was looking fine, but I had to wait for my 18-20 week level 2 u/s before any restrictions were to be lifted. On Dec. 15 we all headed for the big u/s. At the appt. we were told that the baby looks very good and we are having another little GIRL!! |
