Looks like nwac, the clubsite Lynn designed for them is now at http://nwaclub.bizland.com now.
Too bad that Cheri, the vice-chair, felt so threatened to call police to have Lynn removed from that Club in DrbnHgts, but Lynnonly spoke the truth that the club wrote her a rubber check for the nwac.org domain name. Get a grip Cheri! That's the most upsurd thing I've ever witnessed there on Joy Road and Beech. Calling the five-O! just because you were afraid the truth be known?

Amongst instructing the other board-member not to continue talking to her untill after you guys have your meeting so you can tell her you don't want the nwac.org domain now, without ever giving her the courtesy to here her out? What has that club come too? The worst part is Cheri trying to 'goad' Lynn into a scene to where there would've been reason to ask her to leave, but

It still remains a mystery that when somebody does something good for the club, it goes without notice, but as soon as somebody's feathers are a tad ruffled, WATCH-OUT--FIVE-O will be called in for something, anything, just cuz the person believes that is her perogative. How absurd!!

FYI, this is an old urban legend. - see below.

This is a "true story" almost everyone has heard by now -- the infamous "$250 Cookie Recipe," most recently associated with the Neiman Marcus company, but which, all through the 1980s, was the bane of Mrs. Fields.
By the way, the story is not true. It's a classic urban legend.
Especially in their particular case, the legend is even more improbable than usual in that:
Until quite recently there was no such thing as a "Neiman-Marcus" cookie. They developed a chocolate chip cookie in response to the rumor.
There is no "Neiman Marcus Cafe" at any of the chain's three Dallas-area stores. Instead, the restaurants are named Zodiac, Zodiac at North Park, and The Woods.
Neiman Marcus does not sell recipes from its restaurants. The department store gives them away for free to anyone who asks.

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-3/4 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoons instant espresso powder, slightly crushed
8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Cream the butter with the sugars until fluffy.
Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract.
Combine the dry ingredients and beat into the butter mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to10 minutes, or 10 to 12 minutes for a crispier cookie. Makes 12 to 15 large cookies.
