Dottie Avery, a distant cousin was the first person who made me aware that I actually had an American Revolutionary War Ancestor. She also is the one who encouraged me to join the DAR. I will forever be grateful to her.

Another new Patriot found was Godfrey Crowder

and through him found Edward Rudder
