Historical Children's Clothing Patterns
___________________________________________

About Me
For many years, I have had a strong interest in social history, particularly from the 1860s to 1930s.  This grew into a specialized interest in the history of fashion of this period, and I began sewing my own clothes from patterns of the past as a hobby.

I also have two young children.  When I started looking for period-style patterns for them, I was impressed by the challenge of finding easy-to-use patterns and the correct sizes.  As my collection of children's vintage patterns grew, I wanted to make historically-inspired children's fashions more accessible with greater size ranges, better fit, greater comfort, and easy-to-follow instructions.

When I started researching the options and resources available for drawing my own patterns, I was impressed by the CAD (Computer-Aided Design) method and its design capabilities and accuracy.  I decided to offer this format on CD-ROM so that every pattern you print can be customized to its wearer.
