Forest Mites Episode: Darkness Falls After illegally cutting down a tree, loggers in Washington state release scores of deadly, glowing, prehistoric insects. The creatures generate their own light and thrive in darkness. The unfortunate loggers are cocooned by these prehistoric bugs. Using a combination of controlled burns and pesticides, the pesky mites are supposedly eradicated.

Jersey Devil Episode: The Jersey Devil Like the Yeti, Sasquatch and other legendary "beast-people," the Jersey Devil appears to be a human being who has reverted to the most basic of animalistic instincts, a kind of carnivorous Neanderthal. The adult female is shot and killed, but her offspring are apparently still living in the wilds.

The Peacocks Episode: Home Generations of inbreeding have deformed this family's bodies into something less than human, but more than animal. Fighting to preserve their way of life, they exact their revenge upon the local sheriff. Although most of the family is killed, the oldest boy and Ma Peacock escape in their Cadillac and begin a search for their new home.
