As I journey along the beautiful and powerful ocean
I look all around me fulfilled with beauty and peace.
Close clusters of beautiful greens
Birds freely soaring over the waters.
Sailboats proudly displaying their sails
All boats of all sizes riding the waves
Rocky cliffs with big houses lined in a row on the distant sea shore.
Looking up is all faded baby blue array of color
Vast in size, the sky is breathtaking white clouds slowly drifting.
The bright and beautiful sun shining down upon me.
I close my eyes and feel the wind softly brushing against my cheeks.
My body rocks freely with the rhythm of the boat riding the waves.
I feel an overwhelming peacefulness inside swallowing my soul.
I can hear the majestic sea calling out to me.
My mind, body, and soul are tranquil, So peaceful am I now.
I take a moment to reflect on all the people that have died.
I realize that this is the happiness, peacefulness, and beauty where they must be.
I feel comforted in my heart and soul for the loved one gone.
It gives me some comfort to bring them to this place with me, to the majestic sea.
Very powerful as is death, yet so calming and peaceful.
And so my friend, for you I give, Close your eyes and let the beauty in and let the healing begin.
Their memories live on in us every day.
I hope this poem has comforted you in a way to help get you through your day
And know that we are all joined by heart, even to the day that we part.
Part this everlasting happiness and peace, like that of the Majestic Sea.

My life has been lived by those who have hurt me
My spirit has been crushed by words of thoughtless cruelty.
My faith in others will never be the same
To trust is to only feel pain.
I often wondered what happened to me
Will my soul ever be free?
Through abuse and through rape,
Through love and through hate,
Through my losses and through my gains,
Through sunny and through cloudy days,
I have lived my life.
These memories remain.
These thoughts are what haunt me
Will my soul ever be free?
My eyes fill with tears, as I look back on parts of my life
At times it stabs me like a knife.
Is there hope for one such as me?
Will my soul ever be free?
My life is spent wondering What others think of me,
I try not to let anyone see, The hurt and pain inside That I so often am able to hide.
No one can see but me,
Will my soul ever be free?
I try not to think of my past,
When life has treated me so unkind
I look instead for all the love
and peace at last
I try to keep the pain hidden from my mind,
That is how it comforts me.
Will my soul ever be free?
My goal is for honest happiness,
To let my spirit free
Forget the fear and unhappiness
From deep within me
But set my spirit and soul free...
